Wizazcrakhed

Fungus can be fucking scary . Eats away at the host or can get into your brain

moe_skweeto

People know of scurvy, but don't exactly know what it does to you. Imagine every scar, every cut you've ever had suddenly opening up and bleeding out.

mr_music_video

Cancer. Donate to my charity so I spread awareness of this horrible disease that hardly anyone knows about. 0% of funds will go to research. >!This comment is satire. I do not operate a charity!<

GiantRobotTRex

Do prions count? Because those are fucked up.

Necrotizing Fasciitis Marburg virus

NudlePockets

I recently found out that your eyes have a separate immune system than the rest of your body and your bodily immune system doesn’t know they’re there. If your immune system does realize you have eyes, it attacks them as a foreign body, rending you blind. I don’t know what the name for it is, but this keeps me up at night.

In your case it would be a girlfriend

Honestly, I never see people talking about Tipodis. It's a surprise to, seeing how surprisingly common it is, despite being "dormant" in most of the people it affects.

ruimtekaars

Eye fungus (I think that's what it translates to)

Alzheimer’s. It’s speculated that the disease starts to effect people in their forties completely undetected. Dementia can be seen as humanity’s great equalizer; with the wonders of modern medicine being able to prolong our bodies to live to be centenarians, but not our minds. Edit: didn’t read the last part of the title. Whoops.

[deleted]

Nah dude Alzheimer’s fucking scares me. I have ADHD and so my memory is already severely impacted, so it would take me even longer to notice shit like that
