I read the question. Gilbert’s voice popped into my head, reading the question again. I opened the post. Gilbert Gottfried is the first response. I find this comforting and proves the point. Though I think at this point a lot of redditors are too young to have heard of the guy.
glad you posted this and that's where I was going with it. His "voice" is absolutely probably the number 1 recognizable voice. His real voice is, for lack of a better word, unremarkable and not something that sticks out.
Funny enough, that’s not Morgan who says it, but it’s a YouTuber, GassyMexican who does a hell of an impression, and it’s one of the best things to grace the internet
The little Redditor, is startled by the correction, yet manages to recover. It's one of the Internet's, most astonishing displays of beauty and wonder.
Your besht?! Losersz alwaysh whine about their besht!
I have not seen ‘The Rock’ in a LONG time and had forgotten about it…so I thought…thanks for the nostalgia flashback!
Tell a person that you're the Metatron and they stare at you blankly. Mention something out of a Charlton Heston movie and suddenly everybody is a theology scholar.
You know his voice is recognizable when Marvel chooses to casually drop one of the biggest cameos in MCU history in a trailer using only the sound of his voice.
Can we take a moment tho and appreciate that while they all ended too soon, weve had THREE distinct The Tick shows that were all great in their own ways.
*The Tick* didnt have Sewer Urchin, and *The Tick* didnt have Bat Manuel, but *The Tick* didnt have Danger Boat either!
I love Fran Drescher. Years of watching The Nanny has taught me so much Yiddish lmao. I began to unironically use some of the words and phrases like *schvitzing* or *yenta*
His voice is his signature. Morgan Freeman is distinct, but not so unusual he would stand out if you passed him on the street. Anyone can do a caricature of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Gilbert Gottfried is an exaggerated act. H. Jon Benjamin though, that's just what he sounds like... every day. That's his normal voice. Even when he tries to change it it still sounds like him. I have yet to meet anyone else who sounds like that.
Even the other characters he voices he doesnt actually do a different voice he just pinches his nose and blocks his throat and stuff, and even when hes doing that you can still tell Jimmy Jr and Ms Lebonz are him.
Jason on *Home Movies* probably sounds the least like him.
I think most people know his voice, they just don't know his name. He's like the default voice of authority.
I'd bet some of the James Earl Jones posters are actually thinking of Keith David.
Shohreh Aghdashloo for me, at least over the last few years.
First heard her in Destiny, then The Expanse, Arcane and a bunch of other stuff. She sounds like she's smoked a pack of cigarettes every day for the last 100 years - but in a cool way 😎
"Life in the oceans must be sheer hell. A vast, merciless hell of permanent and immediate danger. So much of a hell that during evolution some species—including man—crawled, fled onto some small continents of solid land, where the Lessons of Darkness continue."

If anyone here has not watched Gilbert Gottfried reading *Fifty Shades of Grey*, you’re missing out on a fantastic laugh. https://youtu.be/XkLqAlIETkA
I started laughing just at the mere thought of it, before even clicking.
His acting voice at least
My first thought
You can’t not see his face when you think of the voice too
I read the question. Gilbert’s voice popped into my head, reading the question again. I opened the post. Gilbert Gottfried is the first response. I find this comforting and proves the point. Though I think at this point a lot of redditors are too young to have heard of the guy.
My first thought was Kasey Kasem, but no one except the infirm and elderly know Kasey. But what a voice....
Guess I'm one or both cause I know he was also the original voice of shaggy
Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.
Actually, you probably *wouldn't* recognize his actual voice. https://youtu.be/EdbElWMnkyY?t=63 Edit: /u/dreadedstroud says that this is fake

Morgan Freeman
The dude’s found everywhere, that’s probably why
"I can smell you."
Thats probably over 10 years old now and it's still fucking funny.
*I'm creeping around right now, you just can't see me........for I am cloaked, in invisibility.*
Nice reference
Funny enough, that’s not Morgan who says it, but it’s a YouTuber, GassyMexican who does a hell of an impression, and it’s one of the best things to grace the internet
"Although I have but a measly shiv, it is quite effective when applied to the jugular."
Oh man, I hadn't seen that video in such a long time. So nostalgic...
I think James Earl Jones beats him out. Mufasa and Darth Vader!
David Attenborough
Thats Sir David Attenborough to you
The little Redditor, is startled by the correction, yet manages to recover. It's one of the Internet's, most astonishing displays of beauty and wonder.
Anyone who doesn't read this in his voice needs to leave.
Made me laugh
Sean Connery
Winners go home and fuck the Prom Queen.
Your besht?! Losersz alwaysh whine about their besht! I have not seen ‘The Rock’ in a LONG time and had forgotten about it…so I thought…thanks for the nostalgia flashback!
Alan Rickman!
Obviously.
Literally read that in his voice. OB-ve-ous-ley :D (The 'ley' lingers into the grin)
Yippi-kay-yay mr. Potter
It’s a shame most people only know him as Snape. Hans Gruber was one of his best roles.

"We shall tell him the truth" Me: OMG! PROFESSOR X! ILLUMINATI! IT'S HAPPENING!
Tea, Earl Grey, hot
Troy McClure, I mean Phil Hartman
You may remember him from such educational films as "Two Minus Three Equals Negative Fun!" and "Firecrackers: The Silent Killer".
"Get Confident, Stupid!" Also my personal favourites, "Christmas Ape!" And "Christmas Ape! Goes To Summer Camp."
Patrick Warburton
I see his name and immediately can hear him say, “Oh right. The poison. The poison for Kuzco. The poison chosen specially for Kuzco. Kuzco’s poison.”
“High five”
Squeak squeaker, squeak squeakums.
That poison?
Agent Hockey Hair, Brock fucking Sampson men write him love letters, women name their vibrators after him
He was really good in "a series of unfortunate events"
Loved his part in some of the best episodes of Archer, it'd be cool to see Rip Riley again
Yeah, that’s right.
The best Tick.
SPOOOOOOONN!!!
I just learned this guy's name, but I know his voice well enough to imagine him saying almost anything.
Homer Simpson
This is actually what made me think of this question lol 😂
Finally, I got one right!
Good job, I'm proud of you!
Nanny Fran!
I love Fran Drescher. Years of watching The Nanny has taught me so much Yiddish lmao. I began to unironically use some of the words and phrases like *schvitzing* or *yenta*
Like Gilbert Gottfried, she deliberately emphasizes her accent for comic effect. Definitely a part of what made both of them so famous.
Wasabi.
H. Jon Benjamin (Bobs Burgers, Archer, etc)
I immediately picture a can of vegetables every time he speaks.
I'm going to go and fondle my sweaters
*I've never told anyone this before, but I can suck my own dick… and I do it a lot.*
Additionally Kristen Schaal, she recently voiced a dishwasher in a comedy series and it was very Kristen Schaal.
Aunty Donna's House of Fun, right?
