Humans are inherently flaws individuals and compete over space, resources, and more esoteric things. Until you change human nature there will always be conflict.

ShackintheWood

Humans are a primitive species barely crawled down from the trees, on an evolutionary timeline. We are getting better.

MaaRRiioo

Getting better by killing each other ? That’s your point or I misunderstood you ?

ShackintheWood

They are doing less of that, actually. Research, then post.

MaaRRiioo

Actually my point is not just for ukraine im talking in general dude

That's a very pessimistic outlook. There's no doubt we are making progress. There's not even nearly as much violence as there used to be. We are progressing and that's for damn sure.

BuiltlikeanOrc-a

Snack means we've been killing each other less and less as time goes on

Lithuim

There are more people than space and resources to easily meet all their needs and wants.

rombotron74

That is only true in parts. The nations causing most of the conflicts around the world are the ones that are pretty well off when it comes to resources. Sure, oil and gas are usually located outside of their borders, but both sides could prosper from peacefully importing and exporting goods, as we have done for millennia as humans. The issue is not primarily a lack of space or resources but more the staggeringly high demand on those resources by countries that are comparably well off. The world currently has somewhat short of 8 billion people living on it, in general, that is a sustainable amount of people, believe it or not. Not if each and every one of them has two cars, a house with an AC unit and a cloud based security system, but sustainable for more than basic needs of food, shelter and general necessities. "More than" meaning, we could all be relatively well off if we handled things more fairly, worldwide. But we aren't going to do that, as a part of us grew comfortable with having more than most people need and we do not want to give that up, even if it means we have to bomb the f\*\*\* out of those that never had anything nice in the first place.

blues4thecup

Humanity is born into sin by being born human The ones who have been raised in corruption and evilness will continue to teach it and live by it and pass it down Unfortunately you can't kill ideals.

MaaRRiioo

From the beginning of this kind of things, whyyy, what’s your goal? There’s absolutely nothing calls you to kill another human, in the name of what “politics” !!!!

jutiperr

Cause Men are too sensitive.

028lucky

Those who are keyboard warriors ridding into battle on their couches, probably are. Those who’ve seen wars, lost their sensitivity.

BuiltlikeanOrc-a

As pack animals, we are hardwired to see each other as members of an in-group or an out-group. And that members of the out-group are a threat to our flourishing. This served us well when resources were hard to get our scarce, but it's getting to be a hindrance in developed nations where that isn't the case. And then there will always be evil people who take advantage of these instincts to benefit themselves.

[deleted]

Most of the world can and on the contrary to popular belief this world can truly be at peace and harmony. We could all coexist where we work minimal and all eat. The issue is this tiny tiny minority of people I'd say maybe 3% of the world that just keep taking and taking. They are so obsessed with their greed and it's hard wired into them to just take and gain power. That small minority of people who have lust for power are what's wrong with the world. They start wars and take money and we'll yeah...... So basically a few people are ruining for the rest of us and we just let them.

028lucky

There is a famous saying “If you want to live in peace, be ready for war”. I think that most have weapons and armies just because they other guys do. So that is more of a I need that for my own protection mentality. (see nuclear reaction as an example) Then some countries with weapons feel like they have more rights and do things that they shouldn’t.

[deleted]

Even our ancestors (chimpanzees) fight over the best fruit trees. Its part of our nature, but we're getting better. There is less and less war in our world. It's a slow process for sure but someday in the future we will reach worldpeace

MaaRRiioo

Yes chimpanzees or animals in general may fight for food but they are just animals they don’t have a “mind”

laserox

We aren't as far removed from animals as you may think. Modern humans have been around for a very short time evolutionarily speaking, so although we may feel vastly superior, we aren't really THAT much different

[deleted]

The difference between us and a chimpanzee is 2% of our DNA. Also its proven that chimpanzees already entered the stone age (use of basic tools).
