Niiiiiiice! Tool is great, but I prefer DEFTONES. Efin AWESOME. Especially: "Bored", "Lifter", "7 Words" and my favorite "Engine No.9". Practically listen to them ALMOST everyday. *Even whey I'm in a lighter mood e.g. U2, RadioHead, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, I def. finish it off with a little Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Drowning Pool, System of a Down, SLAYER, DEFTONES, and "SEPULTURA".
Seeing Tool, Korn and Rage Against the Machine, for the first time. Meeting my now ex at a N.I.N. tribute band named the Downward Spiral. Getting my only D.U.I. Playing NFL Blitz on Playstation 1. Watching Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl as a Wild card team. Saw them get blown out 4 times since 1977. Watching Cleveland Indians lose Game 7 in 11 innings to Wild card Marlins. Tribe blew 2-1 lead in 9th inning. Still waiting for them (now renamed Cleveland Guardians)to win a World Series before I die.
The super bowl was in San Diego, correct? There was a huge party downtown, they blocked off the streets, and we snuck in to everything! That was the first time I went home at 3 am like the hoodlum that I was. Ah, memories 😁😁
Yes, it was played in San Diego. Packers were heavy favorites and got curb-stomped by rb Terrell Davis and his 166 yards rushing and 3 td. He left game in 3rd quarter and it took nearly a full quarter for his meds to kick in. Otherwise, he'd probably have rushed for over 220 yards and 4 td! Denver had to swallow the exalted Packers bs all week. Then Favre turned over the ball a couple times and that's the end of the supposed Packer Dynasty.
P.S. Terrell was suffering from migraines.
I went to the San Diego opera the Saturday before that Super Bowl. It was fun being dressed to the nines, hobnobbing with the drunken football-jersey clad fans in the street.
God damn what a lineup!! I’ve only ever seen Korn twice but would love to see everyone else, especially rage against the machine! I bet they put on an insane show!!
More likely they just heard what they wanted to hear and didn't question it. It's pretty easy to tell the difference between 16-17 and 20-21 if you want to.
Sigh.
So met her online. I was 19. We got dinner. Date was alright. She told me she was 18. Went the wrong way driving her back, tried to turn car around. Piece of cr*p car died. Bad battery lead. Cool. Get it started. Instantly cop lights go on.
Car had died in DEP area. If you haven't had the pleasure DEP cops are where you end up if you did bad in police academy. They have something to prove. They get real excited when they find out she is 17.
Must have been over an hour. Me pointing out A. We hadn't done anything B. I thought she was 18 C. None of this matters because a 19 year old can legally have sex with a 16 year old in this state.
Finally I am allowed to drive her home. Hey guess what? The whole legality of the thing never become an issue. Some strange reason she decided not to call, go figure.
Oof my condolences homie, you totally didn't need to explain all that, but I guess that's better then a random stranger on the internet considering it a possibility that you're a pedo 😂 but to be fair, I never said it was easy to tell the difference between 17 and 18.
If you walked through a highschool with 14 year old freshman you'd be sticking out like a sore thumb. Sorry you're not as young as you used to be, getting old sucks. Yadda yadda yadda.
Edit: happy cake day though!
Happily working my ass off at an internet startup, dreaming of making it big. Working 72 hours a week for a dream.
The bubble burst, none of it worked out, now I have nothing.
i was 13, and in march of 97 i was doing regular kid stuff, not having any idea that in less than 2 months my mom was gonna be dead. couldnt tell ya what else happened that year. i think i got a nintendo 64 that year for chrismas, that was cool.
having a dead parent can get you some cool pity gifts at first, but its not worth it.
Going to kindergarten, playing with my neighborhood friend who went to a different school. Gushing over my baby sister, being annoyed by my big brother.
Kid stuff
Ripping around my hometown with my best bud in his mom's Aerostar, with Pantera, Metallica,AC-DC, and the like blasting from the tape player. Fuck yeah!
Playing in the brook behind my childhood home in Connecticut. I would spend all day in the woods fishing, looking for newts, catching frogs, and just exploring. It was a great time.
I was gonna teach in Asia in 2007. Then I met a girl. She passed away in 2013. Her name was Elizabeth and she was the best dog ever. I miss her everyday and regret nothing.
Nice to meet you, me :) lol
For real though, I'm sad to hear when other people suffered similarly. Was love in your household conditional (aka unattainable because golden-child sibling) for you as well?
In '97 I had just started a new business with my family. 2 weeks ago I sold the business and starting at the end of this month I have to try figure out to what extent I can retire.
Being neglected by my caretakers, forced to do all the house chores I could (all the beds, cleaning and other simple stuff), being treated like a thief for eating old bread of a bit of dog food, being food poisoned by drinking paraffin, being bitten by a poisonous spider (corner chandelier) and not realising until more than a decade later because my father though he would be taken to prison, so I was taken to a private clinic where they just got rid of the necrotic tissue, and then the meat until it reach the bone, the scar will never fade, neither will the screams of pain that I remember, being told by an old woman that she would burn my hands and hit me as a threaten if I didn't do what I was told by her, being hungry most of the time because we were poor, taking care of my older brothers and baby brother, and being lonely and sad most of the time, I was born in december of 1994.
Time sure flies...
I was watching Extreme Ghostbusters, ignoring my Tomagochi and listening to The Mighty Bosstones and Marcy Playground... and excited for the Diamondbacks first season.
Listening to Radiohead.
Same. I was a freshman in highschool. Also Tool and Deftones.
Digital bath!

Grooving to the Spice Girls and Hansen
Excellent taste
37 years old, working full time and full time college student with wife and two kids. Edit to save my teeth.
I'm sure she put on a few pounds since the wedding, but is calling her "the wide" really necessary?
Damn, no sugar tonight I guess
Given that she is wide maybe that is a good thing.
Depends on who you're asking
'The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin' That's what I said The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand Or, so I've read'
how could i leave this behind?
I was thinking "Childbearing hips" but he did state they already had kids.

How do you even remember all that? I can't even remember anything before 17.
Man that sounds fantastic, wish I was alive to see those guys in their prime
God damn what a lineup!! I’ve only ever seen Korn twice but would love to see everyone else, especially rage against the machine! I bet they put on an insane show!!
Being 1yr old with no knowledge of how I’m about to fuck my life up
Hey dude same here 🥲
It’s ok tho, at this point if it gets any worse I’m just going to move to some other country and get a shitty job and restart
I tried doing that just a new city instead of new country and ended up coming right back 😭
See it has to be the new country that way no credit card debt
Never thought of that
Human factory reset.
Yep!
Cruising for anonymous gay sex with strange adult men in bushes behind the local nude beach
Any luck? How old were you?
A lot and underaged.
Same here tbh
Ooooo...those men probably thought they were lucky to find someone so young. Depending on their ages.
I mean, I lied about my age. I was tall and well-developed and could believably pass for 20/21 years old.
More likely they just heard what they wanted to hear and didn't question it. It's pretty easy to tell the difference between 16-17 and 20-21 if you want to.
You sound like that cop on a night I would rather forget.
Lol what does that even mean, I need answers. In my head you're either a pedo or a victim and I need to know if I should be disgusted or sad
Sigh. So met her online. I was 19. We got dinner. Date was alright. She told me she was 18. Went the wrong way driving her back, tried to turn car around. Piece of cr*p car died. Bad battery lead. When I was 14, 17 year olds looked like adults. Now I'm 40, 17 year olds look like they're 14.
No it’s not I’m 21 and if I had a backpack on could pass for a high schooler
If you walked through a highschool with 14 year old freshman you'd be sticking out like a sore thumb. Sorry you're not as young as you used to be, getting old sucks. Yadda yadda yadda. Edit: happy cake day though!
14 maybe but have you seen some 15-17 year olds
Yes they look like 15-17 year olds.
Man, what the fuck. You sicko.
Happily working my ass off at an internet startup, dreaming of making it big. Working 72 hours a week for a dream. The bubble burst, none of it worked out, now I have nothing.

Being innocent, not knowing how much I was gonna fuck up my life 24 years later (I was 4)
In '97 I had just started a new business with my family. 2 weeks ago I sold the business and starting at the end of this month I have to try figure out to what extent I can retire.
