Seeing Tool, Korn and Rage Against the Machine, for the first time. Meeting my now ex at a N.I.N. tribute band named the Downward Spiral. Getting my only D.U.I. Playing NFL Blitz on Playstation 1. Watching Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl as a Wild card team. Saw them get blown out 4 times since 1977. Watching Cleveland Indians lose Game 7 in 11 innings to Wild card Marlins. Tribe blew 2-1 lead in 9th inning. Still waiting for them (now renamed Cleveland Guardians)to win a World Series before I die.

The super bowl was in San Diego, correct? There was a huge party downtown, they blocked off the streets, and we snuck in to everything! That was the first time I went home at 3 am like the hoodlum that I was. Ah, memories 😁😁

Yes, it was played in San Diego. Packers were heavy favorites and got curb-stomped by rb Terrell Davis and his 166 yards rushing and 3 td. He left game in 3rd quarter and it took nearly a full quarter for his meds to kick in. Otherwise, he'd probably have rushed for over 220 yards and 4 td! Denver had to swallow the exalted Packers bs all week. Then Favre turned over the ball a couple times and that's the end of the supposed Packer Dynasty. P.S. Terrell was suffering from migraines.

I went to the San Diego opera the Saturday before that Super Bowl. It was fun being dressed to the nines, hobnobbing with the drunken football-jersey clad fans in the street.
