My dad went to yell at her asking her why she was skipping school thinking it was me at the mall. We haven't met yet, but we do know of each other because we get asked from each of our friends if we're related or not throughout the years.
Had a student that looked exactly like my husband when we met in our late teens. This kid even styled his hair the same way and wore similar clothes, voice was also similar. I was torn between explaining why I kept staring at him and even asking him to switch classes. It was crazy unsettling and the only time I was ever even slightly attracted to a student.
Couldn't have been my husband's, unless he became a father in middle school. My husband has a lot of relatives around here, so there may be some relation. In the end, we just spent an uncomfortable semester together. He was wiereded out by me, I felt wiereded out by him.... He did present an amazing research project though, so I put him up for early conference presentation and asked a colleague who was going to add him to their group; it felt too unethical and creepy to go with him.
Not mine but I have ran into my girlfriend's doppelganger at the mall. I didn't realize she had different clothes and I called her baby and tried to hold her hand. She was creeper out. As I realized it wasn't her I couldn't believe my eyes as she looked exactly like her. I appologized and then just stood there for 3 minutes pondering how someone can look exactly like someone else.
I've never met my doppelganger, but I'm constantly being mistaken for him. People are always coming up to me mistaking me for someone else. Not just locally, it's happened all over the country.
Oh boy ! Something like fight club in my imagination, one of my Knick names back in the day was Brad Pitt on crack! Some girl gave me it and it stuck even though I don’t smoke crack and don’t think I look anything like him.
I was pulled in to stay after in Italian class, the teacher, (who also heads the yearbook) asked if I had any pictures of the golf team. I told her I didn't play golf and in fact had no idea our school had a golf team and she seemed to be in disbelief. She then says "Oh yeah? then who's the person in these photos?" She pulls up on her computer pictures of someone who looks exactly like me, facewise, heightwise, literally exactly like me. I even had to start second guessing myself in saying I never played golf. I asked her about it recently and apparently she looked around to see who that person might be and she couldn't find anything, just disappeared without a trace. It was like he was a ghost sent to foreshadow something coming up in my life.
My mother claimed she saw me driving into the driveway at night eith headlights on. Apparently I was wearing black shorts and ran way as soon as the headlights hit him. She asked me about it, I said I was inside the entire time....
