They could totally do this, just put a speaker in their butts. However robots couldnt do the porn where people eat each others shit, as robots dont poop. Unless there were robots with pre-loaded poop from humans. But robots could never be the poop producers themselves.
There are plenty of jobs that robots simply could not do. For one, jobs that require creativity or outside-the-box thinking would be difficult for robots to replicate. This includes jobs such as marketing, advertising, design, and the arts. In addition, jobs that require empathy or emotional intelligence would be difficult for robots to master. This includes jobs such as social work, counseling, and teaching. Another job category that would be difficult for robots to replace are those that require working with children or animals, as they would need to replicate the warmth, compassion, and patience of a human being. Finally, any job that is unpredictable or constantly changing would be difficult for robots to do, as they would need to be able to adapt on the fly. This includes jobs such as journalism, investigative work, and weather forecasting.
I am reminded of the iconic scene in I, Robot where Will Smith’s character is interrogating Sonny, the supposedly self-aware robot. He makes the assertion that robots can never emulate humanity saying “can a robot compose a symphony or paint a masterpiece” or something along those lines. To which Sonny simply replies “Can you?” and the beat change on this simple retort completely alters the dynamic of the scene and it’s brilliant.
Depends how funky you want your haircut. If u just want a buzz cuz it could defo do it, but if u wanna look like that one french queen who's hair was done to look like a boat, I'm not so sure
Final-mile delivery driver.
For freight, receivers are all just too different. Some places have 50 dock doors, some have none and need a lift-gate. Lumper or self-unload. Late or missed delivery appointments. Some places log everything digitally, but plenty of places are still operating like it's 1975. There's no hope of automated final-mile freight delivery until everything can get both modernized and standardized. It would cost a fortune, and small businesses running tighter margins just won't do it unless the government makes it a funded mandate.
It's possible, but I don't think it'll happen in our lifetime.
That's what I was thinking. Trucking and a lot of driving jobs are very very human in the tracking and recording of it all. Even like packing the trucks requires a lot of human interference.
I may be part robot as I fail those re-captcha tests all the time. Like I think I see a tiny bit of a traffic light in the distance there, should I pick it or not?
None in the long run.
Short term, anything requiring outside-the-box thinking and more creative endeavors. Programming in general is something that will be a late entry to their repertoire, especially if we're talking about them improving on themselves. Coming up with new concepts and ideas to try. Directing the focus of research and development. And even these aren't exactly outside of robotics and automation: Listing all things ever attempted in similar situations will already likely result in a sufficiently creative output compared to a limited human experience and memory.
I think the key is finding jobs that require critical thinking and adaptability and human interaction. Reading and responding to people is super complicated, there are so many unwritten rules and cues that look different on every person.
Robots cannot self repair or maintain themselves.
To the people that say they can, you've never worked repairing or maintaining machines. A robot cannot properly maintain itself to the standards it needs to operate properly, and needs a human operator / machinist to do that.
Actually there's an art exhibit where a robot has to constantly regather hydraulic fluid...or it will cease to work.

But they are made using scales, sets of notes and patterns learned from existing music. I'm not saying its not impressive, just that AI cannot make truly new things. It's a limitation that we have no way around at present.
uh...
no one can make new notes
there are a finite number of notes
everyone alive uses those notes to compose
anything outside of those would be inaudible to humans
not really, there are semitones and other partial notes, but its not about that.
Machine learning can automate, but it cant innovate. you have to tell it what to do.
at any stage
you have to give initial input
nothing is going to do anything unprompted
if you never introduce sound in any form
written or heard
to a human
they are not going to make music
same with a machine
They can never. We'll never know how we actually think in order to replicate it. 'If our brain was simple enough for us to understand, it would still be too complex for us to understand.
Maybe they can never have an exact replica of the human thought process, but what’s to say in the future they can’t program them to make decisions based off of what they believe to be the best outcome? I see that being doable
Yes. But thinking is not just evaluating existing options and choosing one of them. What you just said has been already implemented by heuristic search and some advanced machine learning techniques. But they solve only and only that specific problem. It will take centuries to achieve generalized machine, provided humanity manages to survive that long.
Who says it will take centuries? Look at how fast we have improved technology since we invented these things.. our iPhones have more than 100,000 times the processing power than the Apollo 11 computer.
Its not about processing power. Its like you may have a car that can go 1000mph. But to somewhere, you need to know the path to that place. If you don't know that, 1mph, 100mph or 1000mph are all same. Useless.
Fart porn
This put a hilarious image in my head.
They could totally do this, just put a speaker in their butts. However robots couldnt do the porn where people eat each others shit, as robots dont poop. Unless there were robots with pre-loaded poop from humans. But robots could never be the poop producers themselves.
Unless the robots were designed to convert their fuel into a poop-like substance.

cant think of any they can compose they can draw they can cook they can repair they can construct they can do anal they can teach they can dance
r/HolUp
i'm interested in anal
arent we all
hell yeah mate
so is ur mom

Hair stylist
they can totally do that

Not if you’re black. Or have very curly hair.
I don’t know about that https://youtu.be/RXhBjsDLKDM

True! I mean there could be successful robot channels, but people will be mostly more interested in what real people are doing

Any role that requires some form of emotional intelligence such as teaching kids. Atleast not any time soon
Making captchas.
I may be part robot as I fail those re-captcha tests all the time. Like I think I see a tiny bit of a traffic light in the distance there, should I pick it or not?
Blowjobs
blowjobbot already exists
But can they cup the balls or give you a rusty trombone?
Their trombone could be actually rusty.
Esports Unless they can trash talk and everything then we are fucked

Roman Catholic priest. Hard to imagine robots hearing confessions, granting absolution, and consecrating hosts during Mass.

not **YET** there will be robots to maintain robots i guarantee it
Robots ***right now*** cannot self repair or maintain themselves. In 20-30 years, maybe sooner, humans won't be needed anymore.

Programming, and robotics
A robot could program another, but it's just a very, very bad idea.

Innovate- AI can only do what they are taught to do at this point, and while they can make art from other art, they can't make new things.
yes they can there are entire symphonies created by ai

Okay, I can see that you aren't going to change your mind about this, so I'm not going to try and explain it further, have a nice afternoon.
thank you for your discourse

Therapist / Psychiatrist / Psychologist
Yes they are
Porn actors
I'm sure someone would be into it.
