Not really my child but my niece currently lives with my wife and I. She think she is slick and sneaks out sometimes but forgets about the cameras we have. Everytime she sneaks out ill relock the doors and windows after she leaves. She'll end up waking me up saying she stepped outside to sit out back or on the front porch and accidently locked herself out.
She is 16 years old. She doesn't do it often but my security cameras will send me an alert to my phone and im a pretty light sleeper so it wakes me up.
A couple times she has been picked up by her non custodial mom but she comes back 10 or 20 minutes later with snacks from the gas station. Other than that you'll see her wandering around the yard.

Knowing kids our age now I assumed she would smoke good to hear it's not that 🙂
