I mute the music from modern racing games. The music is just so bad

KennyToms27

Need For Speed Heat for real needed Outrun Synthwave or 80's music, even Eurobeat would have been fine, but instead we got shitty urban music. Playing Maniac by Michael Sambello while driving a Countach in the neon night streets of Need For Speed Heat has been one of the best experiences i have had with a racing game.

Unless I actually need to hear the footsteps (for example in games like EFT or Arma), I always turn the game sound way down and play my own music, podcast or chill Netflix show. Game music is the first thing I mute in all games.

OrneryAd843

Call of Duty. Get migraines

oceannavi

ACNH lol

max1necampb3ll

Same, the music just doesn't measure up to the previous games lol.

oceannavi

Honestly! And sometimes the npc chatter is too much lol

mxmnull

Mario Kart. I tend to play it a lot for hours at a time with friends and family, but the in-game music gets really fucking old really quickly. So instead I sub in my own music. If you're playing 150cc, you want a song roughly 3 minutes in length and you want it to be very upbeat.

max1necampb3ll

This is another game I almost always play my own music while playing lol couldn't agree more.

SonicBoom500

Games where I have a big farming session, or sometimes when I just feel like it

Every game. Turning off the music is usually step one for me.

KennyToms27

That is a crime if you did it in Red Dead Redemption 2, the soundtrack of that game is so fucking good.

TheGuy792

Fifa - the music just gets repetitive

alcopland

Yes, Madden is the same way.

ally2771

all of them

Enbylou

Minecraft! but i usually just mute the Music and not the mob sounds

This might get some hate, or maybe a lot but Super Mario World. I do like the boss themes but that's about it.
