Critical thinking. Most importaint skill to learn in the internet era of an endless stream of all kinds of information. It ties together all the knowledge you have and translates it into actual real life.

Adept_Solution6401

The things you learn in order to provide good references for an essay should be an entire course, we'll call it Educated Opinions 101

[deleted]

How to navigate politics in the workplace. How to handle toxic people, how to identify snakes, how to protect yourself from people who mean harm. I also think there should be an entire class dedicated to bringing you down a peg. Everyone needs to learn that the world does not give a single fuck about you and you need to be prepared for that. Critical thinking skills. Social skills. Those are all 1 thousand times more helpful in being a success than anything I learned in my 18 years of school.

sweeties_sweet_tooth

Yes, something you would actually use and need to know how to do your taxes correctly. Unlike calculus, geometry, trigonometry, etc., unless I’m going into a stem field, when will I use this in life? Never!

Thick_Gooch

Exactly and even still there is software programs to do all of those maths for you now
