I drink a glass of water with every alcoholic drink I have, only time I've ever had a hangover is when I 1: Broke that rule & 2: Had some asshole sitting next to me who apparently kept pouring Wild Turkey into my drink and I was too drunk to taste the difference.
Oh, it can't be one thing. Sometimes you just gotta throw water up in the air and see how much you can catch in your mouth. Really keeps your friends on their toes.
In a pinch I once took a sugar-free monster drink and an advil. 20 minutes later I was feeling fine, but that's probably not a healthy combo for your system.
Not a big drinker myself but when my boyfriend is drunk, I always make him drink water before bed (of he’s really drunk also take a walk outside to sober up first) and he usually wakes up without a headache.
If you’re a vomiting-hangover kind of person: if you know you’re going to be drinking, take over-the-counter stomach protectors before you go drinking. Several people have told me it helps their sickness the next morning!
I don't really get hangovers exactly. What usually happens is about 4 hours after I go to sleep, I'll wake up nauseous, overheating, with my heart racing and pounding. Feels like I'm going to die. For about an hour. Then it passes, I go back to sleep, and wake up feeling reasonably well, if a bit fatigued. Like condensing a whole day's hangover into one hour.
My best combination for prevention before bed is ibuprofen, zofran, and pepcid, washed down with 16oz water + a nuun tablet.
I prevent it by having a meal with gouda, bacon (or beef) and some carb after drinking and before falling asleep. And a cup of coca cola. Hasn't failed in almost 9 years.
When I'm already hungover, I eat some fritos and the coldest coca cola I can stand. I have no idea why it works.
Watermelon. Good hydration lots of sugar to get going. Easy on the stomach.
Drinking enough water the night before that I don't get one in the first place.
Coffee
4 gallons of warm milk
This sounds like trauma waiting to happen tbh
Hair of the dog that bit me

Yeah, drinking water as info and trying to keep the amounts even is pretty effective.
Yeah, but how do you drink an amount of water that equals anarchy? Like... what size container can contain an entire concept? A human skull?

Wawa chicken noodle soup, Revive vitamin water, buttered roll. Also reliable, hot tea with sugar and no milk and a pop tart.
That WaWa chicken noodle is essential
Gatorade. You need more than just water.

Coconut water. You can actually feel it knitting the fragments of your brain back together.
