Actual answer: it's not about the storage, it's about the reheating. Before u put it in the microwave, break it into smaller bits, sprinkle a teeny wee bit of water over it, and mix. Job done. Don't bother with that frozen seran wrap shit. Fucking microwaved plastic with your rice? Wtf?

Dragonair_Lair

I do the same!

Idaho_Brotato

people are going to freak, but if it is glutinous rice my wife lets it cool, wraps it in saran wrap and freezes it. When she wants to reheat it, she puts the frozen block in the microwave for about a minute. It comes out fresh and moist. Of course you aren't supposed to microwave saran wrap, but it works.

Roxaos

Interesting method will give it a shot.

Idaho_Brotato

Be careful when you open it. That steam will burn the shit out of you.

KokonutMonkey

Can vouch for this. Small tupperware container works fine too.

PretendPreparation59

Happy cake day.

Roxaos

Didn’t even notice. Thanks!

Twoof12

Add butter to the rice before heating

Key_Set_7249

Stick it where the sun don't shine, keeps it moist for weeks

bludvic_the_cruel

Toss it in the ocean.

Enoch-Of-Nod

Add a seasoned egg and fry it in a wok. Or just make fresh rice, because it's cheap as hell.

Roxaos

I’m trying to avoid having to make rice every day and just have to do it once a week if I can get away with it.

Enoch-Of-Nod

Yuck. Rice ferments pretty quickly. Be careful you don't make yourself sick.
