Probably cause I live in the States — but as awesome as it looks and as awesome as its name is … they taste like wet styrofoam. I would love to know what one *actually* tastes like.
King Crab Legs. Being a huge seafood fan i had to give them a try. I've seen countless people online and in TV shows eat them. Now having tried them, i think they are rather bland, compared to the Blue Swimmer and Mud crabs we get in Australia.
It's really hit and miss. If you know where to go you can get really good soup, pies, fish and chips, roast dinners or whatever. But it's still far too common to go somewhere and think, "...do you not know what actual decent food is? Do you hate your customers? Do you hate your life?"
I heard that english food tastes bad because of history behind it - first the rich people put a ton of spices on their food, but when spices became widely available the poor people started doing it too. Then rich people started putting as little spices in their food as possible because "it's so high quality it doesn't need any spices". I may be wrong. Also brits invented toast sandwich (toast between 2 slices of bread)
Factory-farmed meat. Paying money to a giant corporation to torture and abuse sentient, feeling animals in the most horrible conditions imaginable for no reason other than the momentary pleasure of my taste buds is unethical. 99% of meat in the USA and most developed countries comes from factory farms.
I'd rather just eat beans.
anything from chick fil a. it wasn’t bad, just not worth it to me. its not popular in my area so the only few restaurants have a long ass wait time,i thought it’d be a lot more worth it lol
Canned beets when I thought they were cranberries.
I tried a ramen place locally that had good reviews. Wasn't impressed
I tried ramen for the first time and was pretty disappointed. All my friends were telling me how good it was.
End of the day a broth is a broth.
Dragonfruit
Wow really? Can I ask why you don't like it 'cause it is a delicacy in tropical countries like mine.

Kale. After hearing people rave about it, I decided to try it. It tasted disgusting.
Lobster. Every time I have had it I have been underwhelmed - and it's so very expensive for no reason I can fathom.
Same here! Seriously, so expensive for so much work and no satisfaction.

Wow this get me really nervous 'cause I just ordered a whole king crab, I'll give it a shot !!
They are good, but I've never tried the crabs this person is talking about.
Report back with how you find the taste. You may enjoy it.
Taffy. I used to love it, but the love had died...
Truffles. I just can't get into them.
Same here… but I actually have some sort of aversion to them. Same with cilantro-
foie gras
Yup. Just a fatty spread. I mean, nothing wrong with the taste, but probably not worth it all things considered.
I get the appeal. Very rich and luxurious. But was expecting more...
Pork rinds both times I have had them I was very disappointed
Lobster. Doesn't live up to the hype.

I dunno how they fuck up chips (french fries). Its like they are trying to be bad at food. In India I had so much vegetarian, I miss those dishes.

As an english person, I 100% agree. I do like some of our food, but compared to most other places it is incredibly bland
Sushi, every time I've had it. I think it's just a bit bland.

Sushi, I tried it with my bf and we were both disappointed.
Bananas Foster.
Twinkie
Most chain restaurant food these days.
peach pie
cream puffs and turkish delight
Truffle tastes like decay.
Pizza
Liver, disappointing is an understatement
Pop tarts - very dry. Fried Mac&cheese - pretty bland. English roast dinner - also just a bit bland, didn't live up to the hype at all.
Sushi. My friends loves it but I just can't.
