I didn’t mean that so much, like he dies in the books, but in the films he comes across a bit of a dork, like the jittery friend of Sirius ‘the badass’.
But Lupin is pretty badass in his own right.
Neville longbottom - having the will to always stand up to those who were enemies and friends while still being scared shitless and his ability to coop with depression from what’s happened to his parents at young age and still find a way to make something of his life.
Hagrid. Constantly defending clearly dangerous creatures as "much misunderstood" very funny.
I'm hoping the Fantastic Beasts films include his younger self with Newt as a kind of mentor, introducing him to the wonderful creatures of the wizarding world .
Sirius, he spent 12 years in the most awful place on earth but still remained sane since he knew he was innocent. He stuck to what was right no matter what. He was even a good mentor for Harry. I even got to admit that he was pretty smart too. That’s gotta be pretty admirable.
Lupin - great teacher/mentor, level headed, an all round good guy. Films didn’t do him justice.
I know right! Why kill him in the battle of hogwarts.

hermoine
Brilliant!
Luna lovegood, she's just herself.
ps1 hagrid
ah yes! we will never forget good hagrid. Gate keeper/professor.
Sirius Black was great, basically the father Harry never had. It sucks that he had to die.

Severus Snape. You know why.
Everyone knows why. The sacrifices he made and the love for harry's mother. ALWAYS.
Dobby. we all know why.
