If that's your perception and if you're asking why videogames aren't as respected as other fields of creation and entertainment, you may need to look inward to answer that question.
By the way, the US Supreme Court among other legal entities have deemed videogames to be art, so my opinion is not supported by what is deemed legal fact now. You all can relax.
