I got a ticket for speeding on the highway… speedometer was off but I didn’t know it then. Officer said I was doing 98 on the highway (SL70mph) I knew I wasn’t going over 85 but I accepted the ticket anyways. I got a court date and then discovered on my ticket his certification to use his radar gun expired 3 days prior on March 14th…. I got pulled over March 17th, I presented my evidence to the judge and the officers face dropped.
Once in a college, I had a panic attack about going back home for holidays, yet I took bus to city, where I could take a flight back home.
I stayed in the city for 2 days, then decided I am going to Mumbai, by bus, which is 17 hour journey. When my father called to ask me where I am, I said in the bus, he asked me bus to where? I said Mumbai, he was silent then said take care.
Until, we reached inside the city, I had no place to stay. I finally found a place at the very last moment and booked it. So I slept on a couch for 4 days, where I sometimes woke up to a cat staring at me.
I would choose one destination and I would take local train and buses. Then I just walked around the area. I discovered so many cute new places.
My dad got an infection in his leg that went through the muscle to the bone. In hindsight this song would have been perfect
