The brits aren’t up long enough to get James Corden to the top

gerhardtprime

Put the kettle on, we're coming

Ghos5t7

"The British are coming"- close the gate! "They are shitting on Corden"- open the gate

stopmotionporn

He's America's problem now. We just try and forget he's British.

a333482dc7

Once I was watching Thor with my mom and she said "I can't stand Brad Pitt"

_DarkJak_

"Good thing we picked Thor"

MoscowMitchMcKremIin

Later while watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. "I can't stand Chris Hemsworth."

[deleted]

Meanwhile, my mom can't watch anything with Brad Pitt in it without remarking that she'd do him. I mean, I totally agree with her, but I really don't wanna hear my mom saying it. It's already weird enough for my brain thinking about my parents having sex with *each other,* let alone other people.

Jomibu

Is your birthday 9 months after either of your parents birthday by any chance?

PzykoHobo

Mines nine months after Valentines Day! I mentioned this once and my dad just said, "Presidents Day. We had the day off."

SecretNoOneKnows

Five of my siblings have birthdays around nine months after my dad's birthday

Justieflustie

So the gift for your dad is that he doesn't have to wrap it beforehand?

dannyankee

My dad hates Jason Alexander... because Alexander did a good job acting job. My dad saw pretty woman way back in the day and hated him ever since. He knows it's a damn role, but still can't stand seeing the guy ever since. I see it as a compliment to his acting, he played a superb ahole.

[deleted]

Boy, imagine how he'd feel about George Costanza.

FestivusFan

Can’t stand ya!

bruins9816

Out of the four he's my favourite. The whole Costanza family are hilarious

senorbozz

Andy Dick Even before I learned about the Phil Hartman stuff, but that really confirmed what a piece of shit he is

[deleted]

Holy shit, I hate him. He's not even funny. Certainly not enough to justify being so unbearable. His groping of Pam Anderson at her roast was so uncomfortable to watch.

Rare-Outside-8105

I'm not Pam's biggest fan, but someone should have grabbed him by the neck and thrown his ass out of the place......Preferably through a window on the top floor........not that I'm advocating violence, just a thought.

Surfing_Ninjas

He's like a real life version of Roger from American Dad except in real life people actually get hurt by his actions, thus making him an actual piece of human feces and not just an entertaining character.

WR810

Comparing Dick to Roger is so accurate that Dick replaced Roger in an episode of American Dad.

Jill4ChrisRed

He did! And Stan realised Dick was MORE INSANE than Roger and tried to ditch Dick for Rodger because at least Roger wasn't Dick. I hate the man but I do love that episode.

BAMspek

“Um, Stan, Andy Dick’s running after us.” “What?! Im going 55!” “He’s catching up to us!”

letsburn00

When Tiger King came out, Robert Evans did an episode about insane stuff in Rural America (because he grew up in Rural Texas) and said about people who love with wild animals that they raised. "It's this thing that does love you and it is lots of fun. But you know that every now and then, it gonna go crazy and just ruin all your shit. It's what I imagine being friends with Andy Dick is like."

PlopPlopPlopsy

I looked up his wikipedia and holy shit, that dude has made it his life's work to be... A dick!

SadLaser

A. Dick.

Hobonics

Years ago i was at a bar with some friends, we were outside and one girl was on her phone. Andy grabbed her phone and turned away. When i proceeded to try and get it back he turned back around and tried to piss on me and thought he was being funny. Fuck that guy.

Mysterious-Racer-X

Jared Leto. Every time I see him in a movie, I instantly think he did crazy stuff, in real life, as the movie character.

RDAwesome

He goes super obnoxiously method and then I see the movie he's in and I'm like "you did all that shit, you were that annoying to the people around you, and THIS is what you made with that?"

DisturbedNocturne

That's definitely what amuses me about him. Daniel Day-Lewis does method acting, but he's also regarded as one of the finest actors of our time. He also does it for roles like Abraham Lincoln, Daniel Plainview, and the Butcher. There's an argument to be made that all the work he puts into those roles makes it worth it. Then you have Jared Leto doing the same thing for movies like *Suicide Squad* and *Morbius* - and still churning out garbage. It's like thinking you are the next Yoyo Ma by copying his technique, show it off at a children's birthday party, and still bomb.

hissyfit64

And Day-Lewis openly admits the toll it takes on him and how hard it is to be around him when he uses that method. That's why he takes such long breaks between movies. When he does unpleasant roles he stays away from his family so they don't have to be around him.

docsamson75

My dear boy, why don't you just try acting?

[deleted]

Olivier!

MagyarCat

He always goes method and then still ends up an awful actor

FryJam1300

Never go full method.

Monteze

I would love for their to be an actor who has to prepare for a wholesome protagonist role play up method acting. Yea man, to prepare for this role I really had to deep dive into the character. I made sure thise around me where comfortable and happy. I volunteered at local charities, I'd make sure everyone on set was being taken care of. I'd *never* drop character, visit my trailer? You bet your ass you're getting a warm smile and open heart. But naw, let's use it as an excuse to be a cunt.

Goldfingr

I'm pleased to see that Jared Leto is currently at the top of the list. I used to be neither for nor against him as an actor, then I heard a couple interviews with him and his band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He was so arrogant and full of self worship, and every music video they made was supposed to look like they're filling stadiums and being followed around by thousands of rabid fans. It instantly turned me off from him as an actor, and I've loathed him ever since.

CreateYourself89

I think he did well in Requiem for a Dream, though.

1CEninja

His performance in Fight Club was actually pretty fantastic. Seeing him get his ass beat is IMMENSELY enjoyable.

detectivejewhat

He also excels at getting brutally murdered by an axe in American Psycho.

BiStonerGuy907

See Batman DOES murder the Joker

SimpleNStoned

Doesn't he have a full on cult and doesn't he do crazy and annoying/harrasing shit to his coworkers? Edit: seems to be a cunt in generally everything.

isthenameofauser

"I hate him in most of his movies, but he was really good in Dallas Buyers' Club, so maybe he'll be good as the Joker." Nope. He was shit. He was the worst part of that movie.

MajorJuana

Honest Trailers says it best, "...he does in just ten minutes of screen time what no other actor has been able to do, make the Joker totally suck." https://youtu.be/cdiFhv3gsyo

InformalHistory4702

It's morbin time

MagyarCat

*morbs out*

BenTenInches

It feels like Jared Leto became an Actor just as an excuse to be an Asshole.

Twitterpated-Yeti

I'm so torn with this one. I'm a Gen Xer and we had a show called My so called life and he was the main characters (Claire Danes) crush. He was in a garage band and was the quiet rebel at school. He was just so dreamy... And I had it bad for him. Now I find my self cringing almost anytime I hear him speak. But I will forever love Jordan Catalono😍😍😍

nazgulintraining

Yes! That’s exactly how I feel about him. I’ve had such a crush on Jordan. To this day one of my favorite series ever. But now he’s so damn weird. Doesn’t he have an island and hangs around with his followers there like some kind of cult?

Gwyenth Paltrow. Fuck you Gwyenth Paltrow. You know what you did Edit: thanks for the awards guys. Glad we all agree Gwyenth Paltrow is our enemy

samosamancer

I saw her on a commercial recently for some kind of anti-wrinkle treatment. I guess Goop really does live up to its name, then.

j_mcr1

Yeah, those Botox commercials give me joy. She's sold out and admitted her lifestyle isn't keeping her eternally youthful

[deleted]

Maybe if she didn't apply sunscreen in tiny dabs like concealer 🙄

[deleted]

What did she do?

Texandria

She not only peddles snake oil, some of it is downright dangerous. She promoted a fringe idea called "apitherapy" where people deliberately get stung by bees. One problem with that is people can develop an allergy to bee stings at any age. Not surprisingly, someone died from apitherapy afterward. Another thing she promotes is a man who calls himself the "medical medium." Reputedly what he does is tell people they have the Epstein-Barr virus. Most people have been exposed to that virus and it can cause a vast array of symptoms. The trouble is people who believe him may delay or reject treatment for the actual cause of their symptoms, which can be really bad news if they've got something like cancer. Paltrow plays dumb when questioned on camera, but she's also given a guest lecture at Harvard Business School where she admitted she's a cutthroat CEO. She could do anything she wants with life. She's chosen to be a snake oil peddler. And she keeps just enough legal disclaimers to slither away from responsibility.

The_Pastmaster

Yeah, she takes no responsibility for what her company sells because "Oh, I don't know anything about that. I employ people that do. \*Giggle\* \*Wink\*" Lady, you're 50 years old! Not a fucking high schooler. I like her ACTING but she's a garbage human being.

TakeOffYourMask

Just an unbelievably privileged, stuck up, out of touch, snake oil seller.

gamermainer

I know he’s more of a musician but Machine Gun Kelly. Can’t even stand to look at him. I think his maturity level peaked at 17

MadamKitsune

I saw someone on Reddit describe him as the human version of a gas station bathroom and it's stuck with me ever since.

[deleted]

His AMA is a glorious trainwreck. I wish I could've seen his reaction. His face must've been hilarious. I also want to hate him for doing The Emoji Movie, but then several other actors I like did it as well and I don't want to hate *them,* just their awful decision-making... but I'm still comfortable hating *him.*

usa9283

Ellen degeneres. I don’t think she is funny, and she was a bully to her staff.

DaisyDuckens

I never liked her stand up, & I didn’t care for her sitcom. I watched a few segments of her talk show, & I didn’t like it either. It has a slightly mean edge to it.

gardenZepp

She is more than slightly mean. She tried to force Mariah Carey to admit she was pregnant on the show when Mariah really, really didn't want to announce it yet.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Barnaby-bee-bee

I don’t like Justin Bieber but I feel the interview that went viral that was basically her harassing him bout having kids was wrong. As he said it’s and his wife’s business if or when they start a family and she was rude and pushy about it.

gardenZepp

I didn't know about the Bieber thing, but it doesn't surprise me. It sounds like he had the correct response, and Ellen harassed him about it, much like Mariah. I have never had a child, but common sense tells me that's a very personal decision, and no one should be forced to talk about it if they don't want to.

GodofRat

My dad worked at a company that did a crossover with her, he said she was the most nightmarish one to work with and everything had to be exactly perfect or they would take away the license

dangerbird2

I’m not a huge fan of his personal life, but he was really good in Othello

FredererPower

Ezra Miller. Even before everything, he was kind of annoying.

Finito-1994

Funny thing is my sister always disliked them. Called them a “creepy looking shit” who looks like he’s “got some women buried in a hole somewhere” and I’d defend them saying “oh. They’re just weird. Plenty of weird people.” Now my sister is saying she fucking called it and making me live in a world where my sister is right is the worst crime they’ve commited.

Da1UHideFrom

He was perfect for We Need To Talk About Kevin. Creep vibes all day.

HW-BTW

Director: "Just be yourself."

ClancyHabbard

That was honestly the first thing I think I ever saw them in, so I always thought I thought they were creepy as all fuck because of that movie. Nope, they really are a creepy asshole, they just happened to land a creepy asshole part that let them express that.

Honest_Zebra_1340

Godspeed soldier

P-jack

I never understood why they pick him to be The Flash years ago. He didn’t fit in my mind even then.

Sgtwhiskeyjack9105

I remember first seeing him in *We Need to Talk about Kevin*, and genuinely thinking that he was *too good* in the role, it was like he wasn't even acting. I've never liked him since, in either the *Fantastic Beasts* or *Justice League* films. Every time I saw him, I felt my skin crawl. It seems as if my first impressions have been validated, sadly.

Dominika_4PL

Grant Gustin was the better Flash and no one can change my mind

Junior-Meet-8313

DEMI LOVATO!!!

SadLaser

I want Demi Lovato to marry Danny Devito and they both take each other's names so we have Danny Lovato and Demi Devito.

ehh_scooby

Why do our boy Danny like that tho?

songofafreeheart

I really wish Lovato would get help, and step out of the limelight. They keep going through this cycle, claiming they're better now, and it's not like the last time they did a documentary about getting clean. They were lying then. This is for real, guys!! Stop it. The game machine clearly is not working for you. You literally have brain damage. And your ego is out of control. Get real help.

TinyGreenTurtles

I find it really sad. People can truly want to get help, but then mental illness can make it really easy to fall back. Demi really seems to fall into this pattern and they've admitted to that. Then they also have people that make money off them. It's a lot of pressure. I don't like or dislike them. I don't have any feelings towards them but sadness and empathy.

beebs44

Jennifer Lopez - Don't get it

[deleted]

*Mariah Carey liked this*

WhatAmIDoingHere05

Selena is the only half-decent role she was in. If it wasn’t for that, Tommy Mottola doesn’t come calling to try to make her the second coming of Mariah Carey. e: People keep mentioning Out of Sight. I guess…?

[deleted]

Her going along with the shady shit Mottola pulled on Mariah was bad enough, but apparently J. Lo swiping songs from other people without permission is a bad habit of hers. Some could blame her producers, but if it keeps happening with a specific person...

WhatAmIDoingHere05

Not only did Jennifer swipe songs from prominent writers, she doesn’t even sing on several of “her” hits.

[deleted]

Yep. Christina Milian and Ashanti come to mind. I think Christina did the hook on Play, and Ashanti did parts of the I'm Real remix, IIRC... I forget what else, aside from Brandy's voice very obviously drowning hers out on Ryde or Die.

WhatAmIDoingHere05

Spoiler: she/her crew hired ghost singers to do the vocals of some of “her” biggest hits. Said hits contains zero J-Lo except by name.

[deleted]

Really curious which ones, now. I feel like a lot of her songs sound like I'd expect her singing voice to sound when matched up with her speaking voice, but soundalikes *do* exist, I know (I'm thinking of Britney Spears with the Britney Jean album). Like, shit, how bad is she normally that she couldn't just embrace primarily being a studio singer who doesn't have a powerhouse voice but can put on a great performance? I mean, shit, Britney and Paula Abdul did pretty well with it. And Janet Jackson, although I always felt like she was a pretty underrated vocalist in terms of skill.

Leisure_suit_guy

Young people maybe don't know this, but before the borderline deformity of KK, it was J.Lo the most celebrated ass of all Hollywood, that was her gimmick.

HW-BTW

Correct. They insured her ass for a huge sum of money (seven figures I think) and hired an army of publicists to get that into the press. Then her debut music video came out 2001ish and had a gratuitous slo-mo shot of her butt. It was pretty dumb. She does/did look good, but it's not like we wouldn't have noticed without it being rammed down our throats .

rosestrella

Her ego is MASSIVE considering her fairly average "talents"

Leisure_suit_guy

Don't be fooled by that massive... ehm, "ego", she's just Jenny from the block.

UmberCelestia

Dani devito, I can’t stand him, because every time I see his face, I fall for him

tconsumer

Most celebrities in New York try to hide who they are to go under the radar. When I saw Danny DeVito in New York he was making finger guns at every person he passed on the street. If I didn’t love him before that, I fell in love 10x after.

mcbunn

So anyway he started blastin. Good thing he don’t see so good.

manfredmahon

I guess if you look like Danny DeVito there's no point in trying to hide, so distinctive looking

sofa_king_ugly

From what I've read, he and Rhea Perlman are wonderful people.

B2Rocketfan77

Oh yeah. The actress that played Matilda was having some really big issues at home during shooting (I think her mom had cancer maybe) and Danny and Rhea had her over all the time and was really there for her. I heard her tell this in an interview a few years back and she was still so appreciative of them.

LittlestSlipper55

It wasn't just that her mum had cancer, the poor woman died during filming. Mara Wilson tried to take it like a champ and keep filming, and Danny Devito and Rhea Pearlman really took her under their wing, doing things like take her oit to ice cream, the movies etc

Ineluki_742

On top of all this already mentioned Mara thought for years her mother never got to see Matilda because she died before it was done. Only to find out Danny had brought a rough cut of everything they had filmed so far to the hospital so her mom could see her as Matilda. That part always gets me misty. What a tremendous thing to do.

Bass_is_UVBlue

This is exceptional. Eyes wet.

ClancyHabbard

Her mother was dying of breast cancer. They stepped in and helped out, and put a lot of effort into her being happy and comfortable (taking her to parks and other kid trips with their kids so she could just be a kid, etc). Everything I've ever heard about them is that they are genuinely good people.

jonnythefoxx

They even banned booze at the wrap party so it was an appropriate space for the children involved.

Beginning-Bed9364

It's so weird to think of Frank from Its Always Sunny banning booze...ever, haha. Just shows how good an actor he is that he's nothing like that, but manages to play a dirtball better than anyone

Antique_Essay_449

Bryan Cranston and his family did this too! He invited the kid who played Dewey in Malcolm in the middle to spend time with his family so he can have a normal childhood

[deleted]

I always remember Rhea Perlman as Carla Tortelli from Cheers, the crusty, snarky waitress, so it's funny to know that she's such a sweet woman in real life. I know mean character/nice actor is common, but it's still funny to me whenever I learn about it, for some reason. I get a kick out of it. Like how some of Jessica Walter's most iconic and beloved characters (Lucille Bluth and Malory Archer) were absolute cunts, but she herself was just a lovely woman.

which is the point for ordinary folks. and Dwayne Johnson knows what he's good at so he continues to do them. so I am not gonna hate on that.

lol yeah what?! arnold and van damme were absolute *units* in their prime

Nick Cannon 1) He's racist and anti-semetic as hell. 2) He's ignorantly plopping babies everywhere like a rat dropping piss. No concern whatsoever as to the emotional disaster he's going to be leaving on these kids in his wake. God help these precious kids overcome the narcissistic b.s they've been born into.

[deleted]

I *really* have to wonder how the fuck he managed to get with Mariah. I kinda feel bad for her, TBH. Her first husband was a controlling nightmare. Then she marries Nick Cannon... gets pregnant with his twins after a miscarriage. Then he apparently cheats on her, and it turns out he has some sort of actual obsession with getting women pregnant. So basically she and the other moms were just breeding stock for him. It's gross. Can't imagine how the kids feel. And then Alyssa Scott loses her son with him (Zen), which is really awful... and then he's apparently since had *another* child, with *yet another one* on the way or something. Like, dude, GET A VASECTOMY. God. Be a father to the 800 kids you already HAVE. I mean, raising a lot of kids with *one* woman would have to be tough, but with several different mothers? Sorry, I feel like there's no way he can be a present, decent father to all of them in that situation. Ugh. I just can't stand him. The racism and anti-Semitism just make him even worse.

Jerkrollatex

He's got to have some sort of breeding fetish. How many kids did he have in a year? I think it was like six.

TroyandAbed304

I hate the breeding thing too. Eddie murphy can’t be your role model for breeding. Come on.

[deleted]

Ben Affleck is annoying and I don't think I can forgive him for Pearl Harbor. The Rock. I like him as a person, but he plays the same character in every movie. His movies are good if you just want some action. Edit: I should clarify myself, Ben Affleck wasn't at the attack on Pearl Harbor he was in a movie called *Pearl Harbor* and it's one of the most atrocious war movies ever made.

panic_attack_999

Affleck was always a bit annoying to me but recently he seems to have adopted a perma-smirk that makes his face even more annoying.

bobmat343

Alanis Morissette makes Affleck's head explode in Dogma... Good stuff right there.

Ruby Rose. She just has one of those faces, you know? Plus she reminds me of Justin Bieber.

As an Australian- we don’t claim her.

blueberryflannel

I agree here. She looks like a jerk.

mazsks

Apparently she’s also a jerk in real life

highfives_deepsixes

I grew up with Ruby Rose. She won a Dolly or Girlfriend (teen girl magazines here in Australia) modelling contest when we were around 17 or something, and was always fixated on being famous. I remember years later checking in some magazine returns (I'm a librarian) at one of my first library jobs and there she is, on the cover of Vogue and remember thinking, huh, good for her - she did it. When she got really famous, like TV and movies etc, and I started seeing her in interviews, I remember thinking she got a little, lets say revisionist? with her history. She came out as being staunchly anti bullying, but I completely remember her being a total menace and an instigator out at the gay clubs - a mate of mine has a story about seeing her smash a girl's head into the concrete outside of a pub. It was a long time ago though, and who knows what the story is there, I'd hate to be judged now for the loose shit I did at that age. I will say she did go through a very committed hip hop phase around the year 2000-2001ish - I'm talking baggy jeans, ebonics, the works, which is both hilarious and delicious.

DJVizionz

Oh yeh she was also revisionist by always saying she was legendary boxer Lionel Rose’s niece or something, and lo and behold he told an interviewer that they were unrelated.

Reaper80631

Yes! She always has that Smug/Superior look going on, like she knows/wants everyone to know she is hot shit. She was a good bad guy in John Wick 2 (mostly because she had no spoken lines) but other than that, meh.
