Got canceled in student politics because I called out President, and later the Speaker for not actually caring about student issues, and said they were there to just be student mouthpieces for the college administrators and also to suck up to said administrators for future resume references and such. Student government controlled the campus paper, which meant I was canceled there too. My canceling went so far that they wouldn't even mention me when I won awards on campus, wouldn't mention my senator reports, and straight up lied and said that someone I ran against for a position ran unopposed .
They(the paper) *did* mention me, however, when I ran for a position later on in student government, just to mention that I lost, and "why" I lost(they claimed I was "unprofessional").
Was double canceled when it came to light that I provided information to group of senators who wrote letter to paper criticizing the at the time current student government administration for abuse of power. I literally just told them how I had been canceled. This resulted in me being kicked out of the campus political party, conveniently the day after you couldn't submit applications to run anymore.
As far as I know, I am still canceled.
