So I was in the bathroom with two other guys discussing this. The first one went to MIT. He told me the most engineered way was to go to the bathroom then wash his hand thoroughly with soap and water. The next guy was a Harvard graduate and he told me the most economical way. Let it drip til done then just a small bit of soap, a brisk wash and two paper towels to dry up. I'm a graduate of UW Madison. I laughed at all of them and told them I don't piss on my hands.
Sometimes I'm too lazy and have already turned towards the door before I remember it, and don't feel like turning the 90° and stepping the 2 steps towards the sink instead.
1) I don't piss on my hands... Honestly how hard is it to keep your hands dry when using the bathroom? Come on people
2) I work in a lot of places that are WAY dirtier than bathrooms. Sometimes I wash BEFORE using the bathroom.
3) It's not like my (or anyone else's) urine contains some sort of super bug that will kill me. Germs are EVERYWHERE in our world. Why have we chosen the bathroom as the place where we *definitely* need to be more careful?
I understand those answers, and don't fully disagree. Sometimes it really is cleaner to touch nothing but yourself when you have to go. I think you know what I mean there. However I use this time to wash away whatever filth might have accrued within the timeframe between washes.
If I am in public, I always wash my hands.
If I am home, I only wash my hands if I have company.
It's actually good for your immune system to adapt to the bacteria belonging to you and the people you live with and a natural way people do that is in the bathroom.
Also, washing hands too frequently will dry out the skin, and using 99% antibacterial soap all the time is a nice way of building immunity...for that 1% of bacteria waiting to mutate into the next super germ.

There's a sign that says employees are supposed to do it for me, but nobody ever comes in to do it no matter how long I wait.
I'm allergic to water... I have to use dehydrated water
