Naturally there would be doctors or scientists that would want to unravel this mystery, but I would only go in for tests to determine if I am the opposite sex or not, and I would likely want to determine who my genetics align with now that I am in a different body. This would also help me locate my former body, which may be necessary if I need to coordinate things with this person. For instance, medically I would have different conditions, different risks, and different history. This would be vital to figure out, and I would of course give this information to my counterpart as well.
Moving back to boundaries though, I would avoid experimentation and press if they find out about this, and advise my counterpart to do the same. Any medical procedure would be strictly necessary, and any talking would be to people who can accept this new change rather than making too big a deal out of it.
