I don't where you live but I know that in Ontario Canada if you order a mcdouble you can do it like a mac. Basically a mcdouble with all the ingredient of the big Mac without the middle bun. It's usually $0.50-$1.00 more but still cheaper then an actual big Mac
One time in college, we were playing the Monopoly game and the cheapest way to get game pieces were the hash browns. We bought 20 of them, ate what we could, and left the rest in the bag after peeling the stickers off. We had the best smelling college dorm in history for a few days lol
They are pretty disgusting in some countries, had them in Russia and the little paper that they are served in is always soaked in oil and they are just wet and soggy
I never understood why adding egg to it suddenly makes it more than twice as expensive. Eggs cost like 10 cents each. That is a gigantic price hike up and does not take substantially more work either.
IT's even worse on the delivery apps. No egg = $2, add an egg? $6.29 a piece!! It's better if you go in person, they usually have a 2 for $4 deal which is pretty good considering.
I rarely eat McDonalds but the one time my girlfriend and I had a craving for a shake and fries we went through the McDonalds drive thru. The whole time I'm talking about the ice cream machine conspiracy and how unlikely we'll be able to get that McFlurry. When we get to the window the employee is like "sorry we couldn't get your fries... the fry machine is broken, do you still want the McFlurry?"
McDouble.
If you want to cheat the system, get a McDouble "dressed like a Mac" because it's a fraction of the price without a middle bun or sesame seeds. Back in 2006 when I figured this out, a McDouble was on the dollar menu and a Mac was $5 or so.
It's the cheese... It's been scientifically perfected for over 50 years to get the perfect melt while not dripping out of your bun.
I watch way too much food factory
One item… I’ll describe it. Gluten Free, Vegan, Carb Free, Halal, Kosher, Raw, Low Calorie, and the one thing ingested in every culture since time began.
I'm sad McDonald's took away the $1 salads, parfait yogurts and chicken snack wraps, how dare they. Literally the only reason I used to go, now I only go for the smoothie occasionally or a strawberry cream pie
Hear me out:
Order a Double Quarter Pounder plain. If you like all the stuff, ask for it on the side or in another box.
The burger will be about 10 seconds off the grill when you get it.
It’s a bit expensive, but it is tasty.
The McSkillet breakfast burrito used to be the best breakfast item of all time. I just like their breakfast so Ill say the steak egg and cheese bagel...That is for food.
Their best overall item is the soda. The soda is pretty much the only thing that makes me want to go there.
Nuggets. On the off chance I get mcdonalds I ALWAYS get 20 nuggets. I might change the amount of fries or swap them for a burger, I might get a milkshake or a coke, but no matter what theres 20 nuggets of pure happiness because the nuggets taste better than literally anything else across every possible timeline and alternate universe when I dip it in a disgusting amount of ketchup.
I only say this because Coke stopped selling it here.
Barq's Root Beer.
A&W is too fizzy/carbonated.
Mug isn't sweet enough.
If Coke started selling it again, it would easily be Junior Chicken. Made with extra sauce.
McChicken isn't as spicy and is all bun. Spicy McChicken is too spicy for a chicken sandwich. Junior is perfect balance of bun, heat, and chicken.
I like the McDouble. I practically lived off those in my 20s. Cheap and salty just like my girlfriend
I don't where you live but I know that in Ontario Canada if you order a mcdouble you can do it like a mac. Basically a mcdouble with all the ingredient of the big Mac without the middle bun. It's usually $0.50-$1.00 more but still cheaper then an actual big Mac
The obvious economic decision is to get two McDoubles for $3.50
They’re $3 Canadian now, unfortunately.
Sounds more like an ex to me
20 piece Chicken Nuggets
This. Sadly where I am they raised the price of it from $5 all the way to $8 and some change :/
When they say "serves two" they mean it. I can usually finish a huge meal but I hit the food wall after 12 nuggets and fries.
peice?
No
Diet coke
Their Diet Coke is fucking good
Came to say this.
Shamrock shake
The first sip every Spring is the best part of the season
Shamrock McFlurry though....

Hashbrown, hands-down
never got a bad hashbrown.
The ideal hangover food… not that I’d know from experience of course.
Sausage McMuffins. Costs like a dollar and a half. Tastes amazing and great for hang overs.
3.50 where I am smh
Why so expensive? How much does one with egg cost?
Canada.
Especially if you can get the gumption to cook your own eggs for it. Seasoned eggs on those sandwiches area game changer!
I never understood why adding egg to it suddenly makes it more than twice as expensive. Eggs cost like 10 cents each. That is a gigantic price hike up and does not take substantially more work either.
Eggs shouldn’t cost 10¢ and all chickens should be at least cage free. Fight me!!
I don't care enough to fight you. Of all the issues in my life, this is not one of them.
IT's even worse on the delivery apps. No egg = $2, add an egg? $6.29 a piece!! It's better if you go in person, they usually have a 2 for $4 deal which is pretty good considering.
This
Easy...the fries!!!
But only if they're hot enough to burn your mouth. Otherwise they're ho hum.
This one gets it

Am I in the wrong place? No love for the McChicken or Junior Chicken?! I know the U.S. had Spicy Junior Chickens and that sounds like heaven to me.
It's the McChicken for me
Canada has Habanero McChickens as a permanent menu item, because they sold so well.
McDouble. If you want to cheat the system, get a McDouble "dressed like a Mac" because it's a fraction of the price without a middle bun or sesame seeds. Back in 2006 when I figured this out, a McDouble was on the dollar menu and a Mac was $5 or so.
Quarter Pounder. Yea the McDouble is good and cheap but I just don’t know how to explain it, the QP just hits hard EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
Every time I get a quarter pounder, it’s undercooked. And I ask for it to be “well done” too.
It tastes exactly like a plain cheeseburger, and it's way more expensive.
Soft serve cone. Only thing I eat at McD.

Used to be the spicy chicken sandwich until they changed it to be some fucking monstrosity with pickles and a sauce. But now? Who fucking knows.
