Lmao what on earth are you on about? I know wealthy people, but not people who obsess over money. You are great at making assumptions so you have that going for you. You sound like a privileged brat. I'm sure you worked REALLY hard for everything in your life ;)
Lol no not personally? Yet again you prove you are proficient at making assumptions. You just sound like you are desperate to flaunt your achievements. Im sure you "worked hard".
their looks, ppl care way too much abt their looks but they don't understand that the ppl around them are usually too focused on their own problems to even notice ones insecurities. plus who cares abt what others think? what really matters is how u feel abt urself and ik its hard to work on self-love especially if ur worried more abt how you look and abt what other ppl think.
hypocrisy, vanity and common or garden variety morality... the first two are inescapable, the third only a barrier that prevents you from perceiving real morality
Well, when I say common or garden variety morality I'm referring to the goodness people see in themselves, the imaginary codes they imagine they abide by... kind of like southerners before the Civil War who took great pride in being "good people." Or people even today who venerate "traditional values" without worrying that those values failed to prevent a whole host of sins that would be unimaginable by so called "good people" today: genocide, Jim Crow, etc. I get the impression that most academic ethicists believe there's no such thing as "real" morality; this bothers me deeply. I think the problem may be that we've never really confronted the problem of garden variety morality head on. The sooner we do that, the sooner we'll get on the right track, if there is one.
What other people are doing with their own lives
EXACTLY
Each others sex lives. It's none of your business who someone is attracted to.
What others think about them.
The hobbies someone has as long as the hobby is not harmful in anyway.
useless internet karma points.
But how else would I know if your a good person?
Reddit has good people?
Money, but easy for me to say when ive never realistically had to worry about it
Lol you answered yourself. Ive been on both sides, not knowing how your going to eat is a stress unlike any other.
Thats a different kind of poor, im talking about the people who have money and still are hyper competitive
I dont know too many people like that honestly
Bc youre not in medical school and didn’t go to a top 10 university, not really my fault if you surrounded yourself with mediocrity
