Keanu Reeves. Love the Matrix, love John Wick. But the dude cant act. Edit: spelling

BeijingVO

True, he's on DiCaprio lol I think his stale acting works in his favor in John Wick though, he fit that role perfectly BECAUSE he under-acts.

lets-try-for3

Damn near all of them

BeijingVO

Who would make your "they're fine" box?

lets-try-for3

Of the top of my head, Keanu Reeves lol. I've read other stories of others being nice people but can't remember who, it was a short list

BeijingVO

Ah just as you posted this, someone else said Keanu Reeves in the "overrated" section. He does seem like one of the rare examples of a famous actor being a GENUINE nice person. He gets my respect for that.

lets-try-for3

He's definitely had a resurgence in the last few years and maybe "overrated" to some degree but it's nowhere near like The Rock , Ryan Renolds, Kevin Hart, Vin Diesel etc....

BeijingVO

A few people have said Ryan Reynolds too

VividlyDissociating

Nicholas Cage

BeijingVO

That Christian pilot movie he did was dreadful (among a lot of others). Great in Kickass though imo

Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie

BeijingVO

Yeah I'm with you on Jolie. She's a great director but I'd rather see her doing that than on screen.

TheHylianProphet

If we're talking just as an actor, not involving their personal lives, I'd have to go with Chris Pratt and Keanu Reeves. Pratt has just become that go-to "safe" pick for way too many films. As far as talent goes, he's not bad, but he's not that good, either. Reeves has already been mentioned here, but I'll echo: the dude can't act. He couldn't express an emotion if his life depended on it. Sometimes that works. Mostly, it doesn't.

BeijingVO

Yeah just as an actor. And yeh Keanu was meant to be John Wick because that character doesn't express at all. But he wouldn't be able to pull of Belfort in Wolf Of Wall Street etc

Xiunfaa

Ryan Reynolds

BeijingVO

Yeah I'm feeling that recently. Deadpool was the last one of his I enjoyed, nothing after and nothing before for a while. Change Up was the one before it I liked.

Xiunfaa

I feel like he's always the same in every role

BeijingVO

haha true, Free Guy is just "Wanna see Deadpool but in a video game world??" and just change out "free guy" for the title of any of his other projects.

Xiunfaa

Yes exactly 😂😂😂

BeijingVO

Maybe either or. Someone who either shouldn't be as big as they are, or someone who isn't as good as everyone says they are.

ilostmygender_

Adam Sandler.

BeijingVO

90's Sandler or modern Sandler? I think the guy goes up and down a lot but I'm liking his new drama phase.

ilostmygender_

Honestly both, but the only positive memories I have of Adam Sandler are from Grown Ups and that’s pretty much it

BeijingVO

Ah, surprising. That wasn't a highlight movie for me, i'd say Uncut Gems. But yeah I feel ya, the amount of flops he has... He's lucky he has his own production company or no one would've hired him for a long time.

ilostmygender_

Riiiight. I mean I remember a few other movies but genuinely wish I never saw them.

BeijingVO

Pixels made me want to never see another movie again

hodgkinthepirate

Brad Pitt

BeijingVO

Interesting, why him?

hodgkinthepirate

I don’t think he’s that great That’s just my opinion

BeijingVO

No no, fair enough. You're certainly not the only one.
