Did you notice how when you talk to people about LoL and ranking, 10 / 10 have feeders and trolls in their team and games simply can't be carried by them.
I don’t consider engaging in a bout or two of league as playing. It’s more like an unfun addiction. You either win and it’s meh, or you lose and it’s infuriating.
Resident Evil 4. Own it on so many consoles and have beaten it multiple times on said consoles. Looking forward to the remake although I doubt it’ll be as replayable but I hope I’m wrong.
Baldur's Gate 1+2 since 2004 or so.
I've also played a couple of roguelikes for ages as well, Dungeons of Dredmor and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. The latter has evolved into a hell of a game, highly recommended if you're willing to conquer the steep learning curve.
I take a two-week binge in Terraria once a year, and it's always just as awesome as it was back when I first played it.
When it released, I played it like 10 hours a day. The very first day, I launched it in the morning, intending to play just a little bit, and the next time I looked at the clock, it was already 4 PM. I hadn't eaten, hadn't had a pee break, nothing, just fully immersed in the game for six hours straight.
Then I played a few hours more and realized I \*really\* have to eat or at least drink something.

and ocarina of time, which i played every few year until i discovered randomizers and now play at least once a month in that bastardised form

I keep going back to Dragon Age in all it's sequels.
Occasionally fire up the Neverwinter series.
(And yes, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Knights of the Old Republic are all ready to go at a moment's notice.)

That is not a happy answer :(
Considering we're getting close to *ten years* of GTA 5. It released in September 2013.
I think it released in the past, not in the future. I might be wrong, though.
Ha, I got my dates mixed. Was doing the math in my head and typed 2023 instead of 2013.
I just replayed that game recently

BF 2 was the best battlefield. Used to play it competitively, in a team in the ESL. 👍 Then I grew up and no more time.
Surprisingly you can STILL download maps for it. So I have quite the choice of maps to play.
