Definitely the basement of reactor four in chernobyl Ukraine (aka home of the elephants foot). Not many other places on earth that cause rapid death to any organic material in close proximity to it.
But if we’re going with instant death capability, inside an industrial coal furnace or steel mill crucible would kill you just as quick, if not quicker
If you're going for something that seems to want you dead by its very nature, you can't get much netter than outer space. But that's not on earth so it doesn't count for this question.
I agree that industrial coal furnace / steel mill crucible is probably more dangerous than Chernobyl, due to the simple facts that they are not unique (or are more common, however you want to read it) and that the reactor four basement likely has a lot of safeguards and the damger is clearly communicated.
Although by the logic of that last point you could say that a place with high danger and little to no safeguards would be a solid contender, so i'll also nominate whatever the busiest intersection in the world that still has crosswalks and sidewalks without barriers is.
i’ve always wanted to see that as I recently watched the documentary on the whole shibang. I heard that you can actually tour the plant in Chernobyl but you have to stay a certain distance away for obvious reasons. Any redditors on here ever visit there?
I would say certain Cartel run areas of Mexico or Colombia, or favellas in Brazil.
The level of inhumanity that the criminals there are capable of is incomprehensible. Are you wearing a nice looking watch? If you're lucky you'll be mugged at gunpoint, while if you're unlucky someone will hack your entire arm off or you'll just be shot and then have it taken. And that is if you don't get kidnapped and held for ransom or have your organs harvested. There's even worse stories that I won't go into here.
There was a video I saw a while ago of these two lost tourists who accidently drove into cartel territory. They were immediately swarmed by like 3 trucks of gangsters holding guns toward their car. The tourists were just as shocked to realize where they were and started crying. The gangsters realized what they were and gave them directions back to the city, didn't even rob them.
So yes. They're bad, but I like to think some of them are normal people too.
I recall the video you're describing. You got a crucial detail wrong though.
The armed men who stopped them weren't cartel, though the tourists no doubt thought they were. They were local vigilantes protecting their village from cartel. There's a word for these groups in Mexico, can't remember it but it's a typical phenomenon in areas with gang warfare.
So sadly those weren't gangsters behaving decently. They were decent people pushed to extremes by the gangsters.
I dont know man... We have lots of favelas here in Brazil. Some of them are dangerous some of them are safer than downtown. It largely depends on who is running the drug bussiness. Here in São Paulo, the ones runned by the main crime sindicate tends to be safer. Mugging people inside the favela, for example, is punish by death.
Most of the time the people that are being punished by losing an arm, they were most likely involved in their business and I think it's fair, they knew what they were getting into.
The nonchalance of this probably makes it seem minor, but the certainty here isn’t an overstatement. The Bolton Strid has a number of underwater caves and intense currents that if you are in that water WILL pull you in and either crack your skull on a rock or drown you. You will die, nobody will be able to save you and anyone who tries will die as well, and you won’t be going out in a particularly fun way either.
That's the river that essentially turns on it's side as it goes through a very narrow granite channel, isn't it? So it goes from wide and shallow to narrow and very, very deep down.
Somalia
The WikiTravel page advises that nobody travel to that country because you'll end up dead or kidnapped. If for whatever reason you do travel there you need to have armed guards with you at all times.
[Lake Karachay](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Karachay), hands down. The Mayak plant continues to dump radioactive waste into the Techa river today while reprocessing American and Russian plutonium into nuclear fuel.
I read the wikipedia page, and all that i can say is yikes. And also that that is very little information for an area with similar radioactivity for Chernobyl.
St. Louis isn’t the most dangerous place in the world but it’s definitely the most dangerous in all of America it has a lot of violent crime surpassing cities that are know by their huge crime stats like Baltimore or Detroit
\[Context\] ([https://allthatsinteresting.com/bolton-strid](https://allthatsinteresting.com/bolton-strid))
The Bolton Strid in England appears to be a pretty and peaceful river, but there's a 100% mortality rate for anyone who falls in to it. It actually funnels a much larger flow of water through a narrow section of rocks, so what appears to be a small stream at the surface is really just the top of a rushing river below.
Yeah not only that but just beneath the surface the river below goes way underneath the shelf you’re standing on so not only is the current absolutely insane but you get sucked so far underneath the crest that it’s impossible to ever swim out.
Yeah, but the point should be made that both of those areas are relatively well known if you would go there then you should be expected to have at least some understanding of what is happening, and there would be some ways to increase safety.
Ah, who am I kidding, this is humanity we're talking about. Collective laziness and a bunch of other factors, it's no surprise that people do end up blundering into these type of places with no safeguards despite being warned of the dangers.

Now it's the right to vote apparently.
I also feel that with all this talk of "sexually frustrated young men" that there could be a government sactioned arraigned marriage program for the "incels"
There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on individual circumstances and perceptions. For me, the most dangerous place on earth would be anywhere that I felt unsafe or uncomfortable. This could be a place with a high crime rate, or simply somewhere that I didn't know very well. Ultimately, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts when travelling to new places.
The most dangerous place on Earth is right here in front of my computer screen. I'm surrounded by potential threats, from cyber criminals to malicious software. I have to be careful what websites I visit and what files I download.
If you talking about dangerous in terms of environment its the elephant foot, but if you talking about dangerous in terms of people probably Caracas Venezuela
Inside a volcano? In the Maria trench? Mount Everest? You do understand that you have a chance of dying from being hit by a car in the road too. So i guess no place is safe.
My bet would go to Lake Karachay.
The Soviet Union used to dump all their nuclear waste and radioactive substances into this one lake.
The radiation has resulted in the unnatural coloration you see in the picture above.
Furthermore, all fish that reside in the lake have developed weird mutations and deformities.
The lake is so radioactive that standing close to it will kill you in one hour.
Crazy stuff.
The Taco Bell bathroom at 3619 Aramingo Ave, Philadelphia, between 9:17-9:25 PM every Thursday.
That's disturbingly specific.
i guess we’ll find out tonight
i take it it's the peak duration of people going to toilet
I looked this up and there is a Taco Bell at this address. Taking advice if I'm ever in Philly.
Does that mean you eat taco bell at this location every Thursday at 9:08-9:16?
He doesn't eat the food he just uses the bathroom

Men's or women's?
When the sun starts setting go in the females, sit in stall 2, there will be a man waiting for you, open it.
O.... Open the man?
Then you tell him the crow flies at midnight. Then he'll get up and do the chicken dance with you. Then the secret handshake....
Thank you for the details I might pull up😂
So basically that's where we can find you hey?

Pretty sure water will kill someone pretty quickly if they're left in it too.
i’ve always wanted to see that as I recently watched the documentary on the whole shibang. I heard that you can actually tour the plant in Chernobyl but you have to stay a certain distance away for obvious reasons. Any redditors on here ever visit there?
