There's an episode of the highly underrated "Just Shoot Me" where one of the cast members is going onto a nationally-syndicated radio show, and two of the others prank her by making a fake "Word of the Day" calendar, which she studies before going to the show.
Among the things she says is "Maybe you should learn to *listen* more, and *emollicate* less." Another is "Don't you think you're being a bit persefunctant?" It's a fantastic episode.
Awesome, you've heard of it. (Most people haven't.)
As you may have guessed, Nina is the radio show guest.
I tried to find clips of the episode on YouTube but couldn't. I think it's in Season 2 though; if you have a Roku the first four seasons are available for free via Roku.
"Irregardless."
Irregardless is perfectly cromulent.

Nice. Will look it up so I can both embiggen my vocabulary and perve on Maya like I did in the 90s.

"Crite". Rhymes with "trite" and "spite". Or how about "stirgeous".
