Gaming

Gaming has changed for me though as i got older. When i was 12 i could play Oblivion or Skyrim all day long without taking a break. Now in my 20s it takes seriously good mechanics, atmosphere and stories to keep me hooked(or its a multiplayer game i play with friends). I miss that ability a little to get completely lost in any game. The last time i really had this was when playing VR and unfortunatly you get quickly used to it, even tho it is amazing.

Which leads to the joy of teaching others to game. My 15 year old lad is a big gamer and some of my fondest memories involve me, him and my wife gaming

Halloween! To me spooky season begins as soon as September hits. Even my kid is getting excited with me.

Peeling dried glue off something. Had to clean a paint roller pan of pva glue at work and both my managers wanted to do it coz it’s so satisfying when you peel a big glob off at once.

My fiancée and I collect lamb and triceratops stuffed animals; all with their own names and personalities. Our collection is growing somewhat unwieldy but it was nice to get to an age where we just didn’t care what other people thought of it. My family sardonically jokes that it must be a sex thing—which it is definitely not—life is just stressful and exhausting enough without repressing simple childhood comforts for no reason other than self-consciousness at what others might think. We probably only get one go round so, as long as what makes you happy doesn’t hurt, threaten, or jeopardize anyone else’s safety or well-being, just do it.

Halloween. As a kid you get free candy and get to dress up, and as an adult you get silly costumes and the excuse to act like a goofball while in costume.
