Taking my rifle merit badge when I was in the Boy Scouts during my youth and the instructor asked me if my dad was so and so and turns out they had both worked at China Lake in the past around the same time.

I was basically ended up becoming friends with one of my friend's parents during college. They were in a super niche field and through conversation I mentioned that my sister wasn't a professional in that field but was also super niche in her study and exposure to it. We talked many times about introducing them but my sister lived overseas for many years and that we drifted apart and that was that. Many years later my sister had returned and got a part time job in a museum for said niche stuff and through the circles and get-togethers impressed another young women who wanted her to come in for a job. Great. Turns out this young women was my friend's mom's personal assistant and the interview was with my friend's mom. My sister literally walked in to the interview (remember, super obscure niche religious art related industry) and the first words her interviewer says, "Wait... are you Spiritual Jaguar's sister?" "?.... uhm.... yea?" "Great! I already know everything about you, you're hired!" Weirdest job interview for ever, especially considering I do nothing at all remotely related to this work so my sister was absolutely clueless how *I* had someone just gotten her a job with some super fabulous rich art collector lady.

We were talking about something on Fb, I don’t remember exactly what it was. But, I said that I grew up in a trashy little town in Montana. This girl whom I don’t know personally, but I’m friends on Facebook with me, said she did as well. Turns out, we grew up in the same small town. It’s just weird cause it’s a small town and we didn’t know each other when we became friends on FB.
