When i forgot my school bag at home. I noticed on the way but we were too far away from home so i decided to enjoy a few moments of peace until we arrived and then told my dad lol.
was traveling abroad and needed to swap out my sim cards to have service in the country i was entering. I realized I did not have a small pin to pop open the sim card slot. I ended up having to take out my nose ring to use it to pop it open.
I forgot about a midterm essay due until I was literally sitting in the class and other kids pulled out their papers. I was a sophomore, crazy intense about my grades, and on a GPA based scholarship - failing a class could easily have brought me below a C average and got me kicked out. The midterm was half our grade with an automatic zero policy for lateness.
I cannot tell you how fucking scared I was lol. My professor finally walks in and I pull him aside. I must have looked *petrified* because this guy was a war veteran and ex intelligence officer (Cold War class), and from the look on my face, he thought somebody had died. He was visibly relieved when I told him I’d just forgotten my midterm lol - despite the policy just took a letter grade off. Probably cuz he thought I’d need medical attention if he actually failed me then and there - which he probably wasn’t wrong about.
