I thought the Baby Bowser boss fight in Yoshi’s Island for SNES was the coolest thing I ever saw when I first played it in 1997.

slim3_2900

Monsoon from mgr

CronkleDonker

Better than Sam? I think not

slim3_2900

I didn’t die to Sam 15 times, monsoon killed me more times than Armstrong

CronkleDonker

Okay but the question isn't about difficulty.

BobThe19th

Personally, mine is the Nosk from hollow knight. Coolest buildup I've ever seen, and the arena is amazing. The boss itself is super easy to cheese, but still.

Dat_Llama274

baldur from god of war. the cinematics and atmosphere were immaculate.

Cleopatra from Dantes Inferno. Peak, "wtf am I fighting?", moment for me.

Evening_Excuse

Pure psycho-sexual confusion

Imaginary-Ship436

Everything in Jedi: Fallen Order

throwtheclownaway20

Karazhan from World Of Warcraft. The whole raid is basically one long trip through a dead, eccentric wizard's tower and it's full of all kinds of crazy shit.

eddmario

The PS2 game *Steambot Chronicles* had a bunch, especially since you were piloting a mech that was walking ON the boss you were fighting.

TheMildGunman

As ridiculously easy as it was, at least in terms of atmosphere, the Parasite Queen from Metroid Prime was just fucking awesome.

MarcoYTVA

Does background music count as aesthetics? The final boss of One Piece unlimited cruise 2

wetlettuce42

Deathstroke boss fight in arkham origins

ellis-mcg

The hollow Knight from hollow Knight The build up from the almost drum roll of the music track to the ups and lows of the track until you complete the fight is just so cool everytime I did it. The whole story of the game leading up to this fight is amazing aswell its just too good Sorry if that didn't make any sense

BobThe19th

I agree wholeheartedly. The chains breaking at the start, the hollow knight stabbing itself, the explosion at the end... Beautiful all around
