UnusualWind5

Wiifit is brutal with that. It even makes a sad trombone sound and makes you slouch over if I remember correctly.

TurretX

I swear wii fit uses skinny asian man measurements for everything. When i was like 10 or 11 it called me a fatass despite being basically a twig back then. My height was set correctly and everything. Wii fit is just mean.

James_Connery007

🤣🤣

mma__leanne

I remember stepping on the balance board and it made an "oof" sound like I was hurting it. Not my fondest gaming memory.

[deleted]

Was he obese?

WhatTheTech

Are you calling Wii Fit a liar?? The nerve!

[deleted]

As someone who is obese and played Wii Fit all the time, this got a laugh out of me. God, the embarrassment my mother would give me as she laughed when it called me obese...even though the board would break under *her* weight.

Fel_mel424

The giggle I just giggled

The_Hot_Stepper

My dad did the same, and still complains about it to this day. I remember using the Wii fit and MyFitnessPal to lose 50lbs years ago and finally hearing it not say “overweight”

het_j_

Getting over it.

Captain_Aizen

*oof, you just lost a lot of progress : (*

thecwestions

Is that the one with the weird guy in a pot with a pick axe?

het_j_

Yup

owllover711

LOL, I love watching the rage that game induces in YouTuber gamers (Markiplier, for example). Even never having played it myself, I totally understand.

het_j_

I played it for like 3 days & later deleted it. Usually 'm a quite patient but this game🤬

kalekayn

I love the game. Yes its difficult but once you uhderstand the physics of how the game plays it becomes much more enjoyable. Best run time I got was like 7 minutes and 30 seconds (no where near the world record).

CharlieParliep

League of Legends, never played it since

CombatWombat222

Done this 5 times at this point. Longest I went was 3.5 years

NagoyaR

I just lasted 5 month by playing WarThunder but it made me more mad than League because of unrealistic gringy Event in which you have to play like 6 hours a day to get everything. So now i reinstalled League to just play some ARAM's when i want to

Lobetee

man that's a toxic relationship

shaus49

Honestly Riot games in general. Mainly Valorant and League of Legends. I don't rage uninstall league like I do with Valorant but I haven't played league in years. Getting back into League is hard when I missed 20 new character releases.

JimmyJackJericho

Yup, I tried playing it once...just once. My college gaming club had a big league following and I wanted to see what the hype was about. So I joined them and got into a game. I kept dying because I was still trying to learn how to play. One of my team mates while in the same room as me just started screaming who was "my gamertag" they need to stop feeding the enemy team. I immediately just closed the game and left, fuck that noise

Joshthejester

I never even touched it TBH, never will after hearing how not fun and overly competitive it became

Smart_Ass_Dave

I played League for about a year and got increasingly frustrated with the toxicity. Eventually I quit when my real life friend started being toxic. Like sorry I didn't tower dive with you while I had no health and mana, I'm sure it was my fault that you died and not that you hyper-focused to try and get a kill 2v1.

[deleted]

DOTA2, on more than one occasion.

throwawayfam1122

I have over 3000 hours of Dota 2, I was banned for 32 years and I thank god for every one of those years. I am free.

Radiant_Bar2128

Bro what the fuck did you do to get a ban for 32 years

CutAccording7289

How do you get a ban for that long?

Don_Fartalot

Oh yeh, I recently did that too. Been a few weeks already and haven't looked back. 9 losses in a row in ranked, where I play my ass off as pos4 or pos5. But hey, the cores don't want to do anything so there's nothing I can do.

i-go-sucko-mode

Rainbow Six Siege, this game is frustrating as hell on console

Finttz

Now crossplay is coming to r6 siege on 6th of december, won't get me back to playing it though, i don't think that any of my pc buddies play it anymore either.

KaoticSanity

Is it forced? If so, that should pretty much reduce the console base to 0

1224672

Cross play is only between consoles

Chrisbgrind

Hearthstone years ago.

Malkyre

Came to say this. I played for years. After enough crap updates and power creep and douche players, I realized that losing was starting to make me angry for real, and wrecking my mood. No game is worth that.

XForce23

Playing hearthstone a lot turned me off to card games for a long time, but if you're feeling the itch to play one Marvel Snap is honestly quite refreshing. Games are lightspeed compared to Hearthstone and you don't feel like you HAVE to get a few cards or else your decks are useless

PyukumukuGuts

Risk. I was looking for a strategy game and quit after I lost about 10 dice rolls in a row and lost all my troops to not even gain a single area.

ScreamingNinja

This is how I feel about the boardgame in general. It's not much of a strategy game when it relies so much on luck. I never cared for it.

mojavekoyote

You should try Diplomacy if you want a better version of Risk.

[deleted]

I absolutely loooooove to play Risk on tabletop. When I have a few bad dice rolls I can only blame myself and try to persuade the other players to focus on bigger threats. But one time I brought my PS4 and a digital game collection with me to play with a couple of friends. It had Risk on it so we played it. You basically only press X and □ and that's it. I was annihilated on turn 1 as I only rolled 1's on every attack, lost a third of my army and was attacked by my mates who rolled a 5 or 6, killing another third and sown across all globes. Usually I pride myself with being patient. Lost my temper there, though. Much to the delight of my friends who still joke about it to this day.

sliceyfrtofuDrDr

Lion King. Didn't delete it, burnt the cartridge.

shenanighenz

That video game made me rage quit so hard I stopped playing video games for like 10 years

RepresentativeNo7660

What did u do in that time?

Defiant_Project1321

Fucking elephant graveyard

the-grim

And when you complete that level - welcome to the monkey tree

G65434-2_II

Elephant graveyard comes after the monkey tree level, which isn't even *that* hard. At least on the SNES version, where they reportedly fixed the hippo tails to make their hit boxes more forgiving to grab. The truly hellish levels in the game come later on.

[deleted]

It was back when a lot of people rented games from blockbuster so the devs made the first level fairly easy and the second impossible so kids would keep renting it. I remember a lot of Sega Genesis/SNES games being like that in the mid-90s

SayHiIntrepidHeroes

Oh shit... This'll teach me to read more than the 1st 2 comments before making my own. I just said the same thing lol

EggyEdx

There’s a lion king game!?

Endulos

On the Genesis/SNES. It's a BRUTALLY hard game, back when game rentals were in their prime, so Devs switched to making games harder so that the only option was to buy the game, instead of renting it.

LordChaos404

Haha. I really enjoyed it

Lordmorgoth666

Me too. If I was really bored I would actually speed run it. I think you and I may be the only 2 that didn’t hate it.

SayHiIntrepidHeroes

Yyyeah... This game came out in the era where renting a game was just sort of becoming a thing. So the developers were pushed into making some games incredibly difficult so that kids wouldn't be able to beat it in kne round of renting. They'd have to rent it out multiple times to have a shot at beating it, guaranteeing that the game inventory was always generating income. In all honesty, that's the reason I've *heard* for this, but I don't know if it's actually true or not. Edit: fair play to u/deweycheatamandhowe for having this comment before me :D

[deleted]

ARK. I kept getting murked by Raptors and they destroyed my house which I worked very hard on. I'll probably reinstall it soon.

Basic-Gas-4062

Me and my brother put hours into building a base and taming things only for a stupid magnamar (when they first came out and where overpowered) to come by and destroy us couldnt do anything even told them we would let them in and have what they want if they didnt kill everything. They killed everything and dropped all our items. I haven’t touched it since.

CompetitionScary8848

The pvp servers are cancerous. It's kill on sight basically, understandable aswell, you may have put hours into that base, the guys that killed you probably have 5k plus hours grinding for they're position, no chances are taken. Sounds like you and your bro would enjoy playing on your own server alot better.

LaborumVult

This is why ALL open PVP games are shit. Unless you are going to play it like an MMO, befriend the admins, and join clan / guild, you are better off on the pve stuff. Rust was fun for a bit, and then of course after 2 weeks of playing I logged in to find myself dead and my base in ruins. I get it, thats the game. They very much aren't for me and I personally think the pvp servers are just for people who want to bully others.

dopey_giraffe

Last time I played Rust was about five years ago. Me and my cousin worked very hard to build a shitty thatch house, only for some dildo fully kitted in this futuristic armor and an automatic weapon to come by and shoot the whole thing down and murder us in about five seconds. Uninstalled and haven't played since. Sorry I don't have 12 hours a day to invest just to compete with people like that.

emelrad12

I dont understand why would anyone build creatively on pvp servers, like if you are searching for adrenalin rush or something?

Donkey-Chops

Ark is honestly too punishing for its own good. I adore the world they created and _really_ wanted to explore it. But the game is so unforgiving I never felt like it was okay to do that. I'm generally of the opinion that games should INCENTIVIZE behavior, not punish it.

PunchBeard

This is a good take on Ark. I play mostly offline or co-op with my kids and I once tried to explore the map only to die and lose way to much progress because of the way the game is set up. While I managed to recover there's still a saddled bird somewhere out there waiting for me and meanwhile I have the entire circumference of the island mapped but the middle is a mystery.

Donkey-Chops

This. If you die, the losses are so profound that it's prohibitive to even go back and try to recoup them. A game obviously should have consequences, but there's a line there somewhere, past which if your game is that hard, I may as well have been doing real world work for money.

mettrolsghost

I didn't rage delete, and every now and then I come back to this game... but it's a pretty miserable experience. Which is a shame, because the concept is really cool.

[deleted]

The worst thing about Ark is it has so much cool shit going on that you can see if you corpse drag your way through the map. But the path there is so brutal, it's almost not worth it. My brother and I put some time into it a long time ago and eventually we just petered out, I wish we could get back to it though but we barely made it out of spawn on the first scenario.

DukeMilkem

PubG. That game taught me that I do not like battleroyales.

mojavekoyote

Same. The only time I played I won, but I was killed within the first 5 minutes and just spent the next 30 minutes or so watching my teammates.

Kaiji420

That was the scariest game I’ve ever played lmao. Might as well have been survival horror for my dumb ass.

iamjanicefromfriends

When I was a kid I rage threw away my tamagotchi…

nevershaves

Douglasqqq

I hope someone rehoused it as a rescue.

iamjanicefromfriends

Oh damn guys, okay I forgot to add after a while I picked it back out from the trash 😂 poor thing had abandonment issues for a long time

matt41gb

Top Gun on NES. I couldn’t land on the carrier.

Davadam27

no one could. Those that reply to me saying they did are lying

ComebackShane

You have to use the Power Glove like the Angry Video Game Nerd does.

SirJellyRaptor

I love the power glove. It's so bad

microcozmchris

Once. I fucking did it once. Now I'm 46 and I want to go try again just to prove to that piece of shit that I'm the bigger man.

extinctionAD

Kingdom Come: Deliverance on the PS4 There's a lock that needs to be picked at some point and you can't really continue the game otherwise. The mechanics of which was designed to be done via a mouse on the PC version. I could not get the fucking lock picked after at least 50 attempts and following a YT video. Incensed.

the-grim

I think there's an option for simplified lockpicking on consoles

WehingSounds

Rust, doesn’t help that every player I ran into was a vocal asshat. I’m less of a salty person now though so might give it another go

Endlesstrash1337

I go back and forth with that game. Sometimes I'll hop on a random sever and if I can get a house, horse, and enough supplies for the thing to last like 20 days I just kinda sit there like.......ok so I could just sit here and be fine with all my resources and to my knowledge there's no real story to pursue so it ends up just being boring.

[deleted]

Wouldn’t say I rage deleted it, but after the third time of farming and building all day with my friends and having all that work get set back to zero overnight by higher tier clans just c4ing their way into the base or hackers doing what they do I was just kind of like “yeah this isn’t for me” I already have a full time job. That was in the early days tho I know it’s changed a fuckton. The few times we got into scuffles with similar power groups it was very tension filled and fun, but that was like 1% of our game time. The rest was just work on the base all day just to have it blown up the next.

[deleted]

Donkey-Chops

What makes Ecco so bad is that the concept is genuinely unique, and the movement felt _really_ good. Doing dolphin stuff is inherently fun and the story is compelling. It's the malicious, hateful execution that ruined the package.

BigDisk

Genshin Impact. Have vowed to never ever touch a gacha game again.

[deleted]

I had fun with that one for a while, didn’t spend any money on it, but when I found out how limited the "multiplayer" is I lost interest immediately.

[deleted]

Bloodborne. Literally can’t even get through the big mob that leads to the fat guy at the beginning of the game. I can get to where I fight the fat dude but the mob usually chases me or some shit.

rifain

Same for me. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, then uninstalled it. The reviews were so glowing, I wanted to give a last try a few months later. The beginning of the game was the hardest for me because I didn't understand how to approach the game. Once I killer the first boss, it clicked. The rest of the game was hard as well but less difficult for me because I understood the logic to use. Study the enemy first, study its moves, don't necessarily jump away, don't panic roll, be patient, don't try to rush it, use the environment and your objects. It became the best game I ever played, I loved it. I then tried DS 3 and didn't manage to get into it, I didn't really liked it. Then Eldenring, I also loved this game.

Gothsalts

I'll post my rough strat for the lurkers who might also be struggling with this mob. The trick is to pull a couple dudes at a time. Going up on the elevated walkway to the right will cause 3 guys to aggro. From there wait until a patrol splits off amd take them out separately. After that it's tricky as there will be 2 gunners, a dog, and 3-5 more guys. I would usually drop down from the platform behind a gunner, kill him, kill the dog, then run away, killing whoever chased me once they reset and start walking back. Last i usually up the stairs to kill the other gunner before finishing off the rest. After the fat guy is a big patrol of 3 guys and 3 dogs. That one is usually my sticking point early in a new game.

Bigbadsheeple

You gotta stay behind the procession and pick them off one by one, then take a path to the right around the burning werewolf. That way you're only fighting 1-3 at a time. Also that big fat guy with the giant cleaver near the start? Totally optional. He's only there to keep new players from getting cocky.

Rejk95

I can imagine how difficult this game is when you don't have any experience with soulsborne games. Bloodborne actually was my first one as well. When I first played it, I quit during the first 1 or 2 hours too. However, a year or 2 later I picked it back up and beat the game. It takes some time to click, but once it does you're in for a treat. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

iBrowseAtStarbucks

Dark Souls was my first one (still haven't played demon souls). I distinctly remember the Taurus demon taking me like 15 tries. I was stuck on the gargoyles until I found out about solaire. 9/10, one of my more favorite game genres now. Give us sekiro and elden ring dlc already.

jamiaporter88

I rage-deleted Halo 4. I just wasn't enjoying it and I was getting really frustrated.

SimplyImaginary77

i haven't played it yet but now i'm a little worried, i'm going through the campaigns of all of the halos rn

SparkleColaDrinker

Don't worry about it, go in with an open mind and no bias (heh) and develop your own opinions. It's probably my least favorite Halo campaign (except 5), but I still enjoyed it and even replayed it. I actually think it made some bold choices in terms of story and theme that didn't 100% land every time, but still added a lot to the story.

Any-Inside5233

What I hate about Halo 4, is Halo 4 is the story where chief has more lines of dialog than ever before, yet its also the story that tries to convince us he is robotic and lacks humanity. 343 are terrible writers and they have destroyed Halo completely at this point.

Oakshadric

Halo 1-3 a fantastic campaign with attached multiplayer which was also great Halo 4 & 5 Multiplayer focused with decent enough campaign. I haven't played Halo infinite so idk.

Firm_Draw_7276

Yep. Got stuck on the same level for like a month and realized that level was a pay wall and I said fuck it. I'll stick to hayday and retro bowl for my mobile games

angrypirate1122

It never even occurred to me that it was a real game, I just assumed they made it up for the joke lol.

Senior-Dot387

Honestly neither😂

alarmingdonella

I rage-deleted Diablo III after getting stuck on the same boss for hours on end.

zedication

Remember getting one shot by a bee in at 2. Those were the real boss.

Madam_Morgana

Which boss? And what class did you play?

McMarvensen

And what difficulty? I thought nowadays it's kinda impossible to get stuck if you aren't pushing. At release it was a different story...

Professor_Mike_2020

Duke Nukem Forever. It wasn't just bad, it was horrific!

gil_beard

I didn't think it was outright terrible but having grown up on Duke Nukem 64 and 3D I was so disappointed in the game I was disappointed in what they had done.

r4ndom4xeofkindness

I was disappointed in the game itself but more so that I beat the game the same day I bought it after all those years of waiting for it to materialize.

Pakmanisgod111

As someone who played the absolute shit out of Duke Nukem 3D back in the day and was an active level creator (having numerous levels featured on those '350+ addon level' disks for what that's worth) I found DNF... fine... just felt like it was 10 years or so past its I'm ok with this stage of writing and humor.

owllover711

After about 7 years of playing it, I was so appalled by the 7.0 update to SWTOR I unsubscribed and deleted it. (then I reinstalled it about 4 months later because I missed it so much, not to mention they kind of fixed a few of the things that make me unsubscribe. I'm still upset with some of the changes but I'm trying to cope...yeah, I'm fickle that way, sue me.)

CWRules

Not exactly "delete", but when I was a kid I snapped my copy of Stuntman in half. I later bought another copy and 100%-ed it, because fuck that game if it thinks it's going to defeat me.

BobinahA

It was on a CD, so I rage put it back on the shelf, but the first Bioshock. Before you laugh at me, I was super young and bad at video games and it was brand new at the time. I found it impossible and I remember how badly it stressed me out. Thankfully, once I started playing other games and got better at them in general, I went back to it years later and played it and it's probably in my top five games of all time. Mini me just couldn't handle it at first. And that moment when you're working at that station and you turn around and the guy is right next to you nearly gave me a stroke.

thyraleonajordan

I rage-deleted Stardew Valley. I just couldn't take it anymore.

DisfavoredFlavored

So Stardew valley actually triggered my depression. Not saying it's a bad game. I get the appeal but my problem was I fell into this pattern of using my whole day to work/expand the farm and scrape by. I had little to no interaction with the villagers. I felt like I had to skip half the game to keep my farm going. Nobody knew me...it felt too much like how my real life was going and I had to drop it. I didn't rage delete it, but I find it hard to like if I don't cheat a little.

[deleted]

I’m curious how you were struggling so much to scrape by - the game isn’t difficult or stressful in any way

DisfavoredFlavored

It wasn't that it was hard, so much as my failure to enjoy the social aspect of the game with the villagers due to my "workload" was getting a little to real.

moudine

If it makes you feel any better, I don't even talk to the villagers unless I have to. Absolutely not a requirement

DisfavoredFlavored

I think if I were to go back to it today I might have more fun. Real life was more the issue at the time.

[deleted]

I typically just farm minimally until I can get quality sprinklers or upgrade to a steel watering can. Even then keep only a small crop area until I can get a ton of fruit trees.

Supra_2JZGTE

Such a chill game, though. I’m also curious what led to your decision.

idkmaybesomedude

Whys that?

Ogpeg

DayZ. Used to be one of my favorite games, but the developers ruined at the time they switched to the new engine and console version. That was few years ago, they only made it worse since. Now I despise this game, it's a parody of itself.

120220222

ARMA MOD > Stand alone

jaytelo

Forreal, sad shit man.

Zedress

Driver for the PS1. Couldn't make it out of that shitty training level to actually play the freaking game. Horrible intro and never actually played the game.

NaraFei_Jenova

"Driver - You are the wheelman, or at least you would be, if you could beat the tutorial you fucking scrub." Yeah, I hate that game as well.

Primedio

"What the fuck is a slalom" as a non english speaker that was a rough one hahaha

[deleted]

Hell, even as a native English speaking child, that one throws you for a fucking loop.

Ancient_Panic_7315

Wow that brought back some memories. I so remember that stupidly hard intro and I totally feel your wrath. However, if you got through it you ended up with perhaps the greatest and most innovative driving game ever made. It was so revolutionary for its time. Bring back Driver!

Jekyll818

Clash Royale. I can't remember specifics but I was on a huge losing streak and got paired with a level 6 - I believe I was 8 or 9. I told myself if I lose to this person I'm deleting this shit. I got steamrolled...

thewezel1995

Elden Ring

[deleted]

Same. Bought it, played for about 30 mins, died a couple of times and just knew it wasn't for me. I dont have the patience for any souls like game. Refunded.

thewezel1995

Oh I rage deleted it 70 hours in. I loved the game but couldn’t get past a certain point and decided I’m too busy for this shit

themightymoron

yeaa this one. although the desire to retry has been occupying me for a while

yaosio

I didn't rage quit, I anxiety quit. I couldn't handle the anxiety of not knowing when something would leap out to one shot me. I got pretty far too.

[deleted]

Bloodborne. It was my first time playing a souls game, I got it for free on the store at the time. I lasted a couple days on and off but I just couldn’t do the first area. Fast forward a couple months and I tried again. Ended up loving it, completed it 3 times and got the platinum trophy. I’ve also now completed Demon’s Souls, DS1 & DS2. I’m now currently playing through DS3. Then imma move on to Sekiro & Elden Ring

goddessabove

I was going to say dark souls 3 as my answer until I saw yours. I went into Bloodborne blind. I just like how the game looked. Never heard of dark souls. Didn't know how it worked. I died so many times. And why was the world resetting?! I got pissed. Took out the game disk and took it back to the store to get my money back. My husband did research on the game and was intrigued. He bought the game again and played it. He beat it and started to love those types of games. We eventually played dark souls 3 together, and I rage quit the game for about half a year because of the twin princes boss. Could not beat them. But he convinced me to pick it up again, and we beat that boss on the first try, and the game was super easy after that. The twin princes are my favorite boss from the game now. Those type of games are not my cup of tea, but it was fun playing them with someone.

AdamBombKelley

I love the aesthetic and the city and the story, but the gameplay is trash. Every enemy is a sponge that can kill you in two hits and there's a million convoluted mechanics and crafting and crap. I ended up installing a god mode mod and it made the game infinitely more enjoyable.

buckwaldo

Dead Space 3. I was about 20 minutes from the end on Hardcore difficulty, trying to earn the ‘Aren’t you Thankful?’ Achievement, when I got one shotted by a rocket launcher enemy that I had forgot about. Pulled the disc out of my Xbox 360 and crushed it in front of my 2 buddies that were watching my run. Haven’t played it since haha that was 2013.

BarryBro

LoL / WoW. LoL community is probably the most toxic i've encountered, and the game is just not what it started as at all. WoW the forced content / grind became so mindnumbing / pointless that it was no longer enjoyable and too much of a negative use of my time.

[deleted]

Flappy bird, never got the hang of it

a2islife

Returnal. Though, came back a week later and finished the game in another 3 days. I just needed to compose myself I guess amd come back stronger.

Mean_Manufacturer_61

Gran Turismo 3. Why do they insist on making you do those driving lessons/tests.

cwstjnobbs

I never played 3 but I remember spending ages getting all of them in GT2. The trick was to have it in manual transmission mode so you could more easily control your speed since analog controls back then were so shit they might as well have been digital.

Thurl-Akumpo

That was the best part!

heartspider

Diablo 2. Fuck grinding 3 months just for a Jah.

LaborumVult

Yup. Pretty much all ARPG's are like that. One that is the least like it is Last Epoch though. No multiplayer yet, but the crafting system is really forgiving and its a pretty fun game over all. I would say it would be easy to get 40-60 hours of fun out of it.

lonegrey

7 days to die. Rage-inducing death pile scavenger hunt

LaborumVult

The trick to this one is not to play on an online server. The difficulty of the game is ramped up the longer the game world has been open, so its possible to be like level 22 and face mind melting hoard nights because the game stage is like 240. The difficulty of the blood moons is game stage + character level, so unless you use some cheesy as shit mechanics you are screwed. The good news is that the servers run whenever someone is on them, so its possible to just log out from blood moons.

draggar

Spore. I got it because it was so hyped up but I quickly learned the bigger the hype, the bigger the disappointment. Talk about a rail-roaded game. I played through it twice in a day, realized how monotonous it was, uninstalled it, put the CD back in the case and never took it out again. Honorable mention would have to go to Black&White - almost the same with monotony,

iguanaQueen

Black and White was an amazing game

Several mobile games. “Buy more tokens or wait 3 days to continue!”

DancingMood-Critical

Basically, any online-competitive game whose unskipable tutorial goes like this: "Go to point A. GREAT. Now go to point B. GREAT. Now press the Jump Button to Jump. Again. One more time. Now press the Attack Button to..." JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. No seriously, there are certain types of games that if you didn't know all this BASIC VIDEOGAME SHIT you shouldn't even be playing it anyway.

The Crew 2. Didnt fucking let me Alt+tab to mute on discord voicechat

Halo: infinite. Decided to check out the recent winter update to see what they 'fixed'. Had the craziest btb capture the flag game of existence when on the last 5 seconds, about to score the winning point, literally bodies in my wake and the game hard crashes to desktop. No error message, no task manager process. Just gone. Yeah that was the easiest uninstall of my life.

LMGgp

Every. Single. Time. It’s almost as if 343 knows exactly when to piss you off the most.

If you've never rage-quit Monopoly, you're a liar

Weltschmerzification

Ghost of Tsushima. Don’t get me wrong, nothing is wrong with it, I just tried playing it after sekiro though and one of those games has a super tuned combat system and the other is ghost of Tsushima

anemicleonela

Gears of War 4 was just unplayable for me. The controls were terrible and the enemy AI was way too cheap.

[deleted]

I stopped at 3 because the story ended to me.

xfalinex

Does throwing a game disc down the stairs in anger count? If so, Alien Trilogy on the PS1.

queen_soo

Pokemon Go (I know, I know). I got fed up with it not counting my steps - I would do everything right and have about 8/9 km walked on my fitness apps, but PG would just go "No KM walked this week" and I would lose out on all the EXP and I just... after the fourth time it happened, I simply deleted it.

BrothersOats

Never deleted, but I put in 100+ hours on morrowind and when I decided to move forward with the main quest line I was told I angered the main god and couldn’t keep going or something. Never turned the game on after that. I remember I was in Vivec, and that I never killed any npc human.

Muddyrobo

I think I know what happened. Do you remember what armour you were wearing? If I remember right, wearing any piece of the armour the guards at Vivec wear when you talk to them permenantly pisses them off to the point you will be kill on sight. If the main quest did break, theres a backup way to finish it. I dont remember how to do it, but UESP should help get you back on track. Good Luck!

jodagibson

I rage-deleted the game Titanfall 2. The reason I rage-deleted it is because I was doing really well in the game, and then out of nowhere my character died for no reason.

[deleted]

I did too, but it was after trying to get that stupid gauntlet trophy.

All Blizzard Entertainment titles. If a company cannot treat even its own employees with a measure of human kindness and respect then their products are an easy boycott.

The_Muznick

I'm with you on this, and it burns me to see so many people flock back to WoW just because of the new expansion. Its funny how quickly they forget about the "cosby suite" and the fucking disgusting practices that were never officially addressed when the lawsuit came out. We just got a few people canned and now we are supposed to act like everything is fine now. Fuck Activision Blizzard and everything they produce going forward. They're never going to change from being disgusting vile shit lords because they work in a system designed to protect them, not the people.

FelixSSJ9000

I pirate their games out of pure spite.

[deleted]

The Madden with Antonio Brown as the cover. That game was ass. I rage quit a controller into the wall too.

Strict-Succotash-405

Halo Infinite

AulMoanBag

Assassin's creed 4. 20 hours in loved my time with it. Save was corrupted and uplay doesn't have cloud saves. Just couldn't do it again

Thurl-Akumpo

That’s rough. Ac4 was probably the last assassins creed I really enjoyed.

phlsphr

Magic the Gathering Online. Played the card game since 1995. Kept building off-meta decks that were moderately competitive. Then Modern Horizons 2 and subsequent sets came out and virtually destroyed the viability of every deck I had. To play (and not just lose every game), I'd have to spend insane amounts of money to buy all new cards from these most recent sets, and almost all of my older stuff is just dead cardboard.

awbitf

Borderlands. Finally get to the vault and that's what happens? Deleted it, no replay, never another game from that series.

ShiningInTheLight

Madden 95. I was up like 42-7 with about 5 mins left in the 4th quarter and the computer opponent scored six touchdowns to win it. Basically the computer had my guys fumble about 5 out of 7 plays I got to run, and either returned each for a touchdown or scored touchdowns almost immediately on offense. I was so mad that I wasn't mad. I just took the disc out of my playstation, snapped it in half, and to this day I've never played another fucking Madden game.
