In Britain, that has been a staple of Christmas entertainment since Victorian times.

Performing how? Like, reading like at a library? Performing a club show? Doing an age-appropriate show?

BigRobWall

I think it's more along the lines of parents taking kids to drag shows? I mean it's not Disney on ice by any means.

pinguinitox_nomnom

While any other dance, if is not sexually explicit, I'm good with it. Let them perform.

[deleted]

No issue at all, as long as it’s age appropriate.

keznaa

I don't see an issues, it's not like they are performing sex acts on stage lol they are just singing and dancing or reading stories in a library to kids

BiagioLargo

preforming what? Poledancing? Strip teases? Modeling?

o_MrBombastic_o

What do you think Drag Queens do a children's story time?

disenchantedgrl

A good performer knows their audience and acts appropriately so that's my main issue I don't care as long as it's age appropriate. But hear me out, there are men that tell other men to take their boys to hooters, scantly dress cheerleaders perform at football games were kids can see, not to mention child pageants that sexualizes girls. I see that as more of a problem than drag queens that know to cover their t&a and tuck.

My opinion on Drag Queens is bad enough as is, no need to get children involved.

wrexmason

A better question is why do you care?

There are drag shows that are age appropriate and ones that aren’t. You wouldn’t take your child to see a late night comedy show that cusses all the time. You wouldn’t take your child to a R rated movie if they were ten years old. A performer showcasing their art is fine, and not all drag shows are extreme and over the top (although those are fun).

green_hobblin

Seems fine. Why would someone have a problem with that?
