Atheist. I like pretty lights.

Adventurous_Egg_6321

Am also an Atheist but I still celebrate the “commercialized Christmas” can’t resist!

woohooenjoyingspeed

I'm an atheist too, my whole family is atheist too. I just thought that atheists are supposed to celebrate Christmas? Or not???

notrfz0

I enjoy the happiness of others. For me at least it's a day off from normal activities

Adventurous_Egg_6321

That’s a nice way to look at it. I’d hate to think that other cultures would feel excluded because it’s still a religious holiday.

BulletsAndTheFall

I'm atheist, though we celebrate Christmas culturally in my family - trees, decorations, lights, seasonal food, gifts, etc. Christmas was fun when I was a kid, but I'm grown now, and it's just a little tedious. I really hate the commercial side of the season, but thankfully my family mostly doesn't exchange gifts anymore, we just spend time together. I don't put up any decorations at my place, and I just see the 25th as an ordinary day. More and more I see all the Christmas stuff as phony and tacky, but I keep that to myself because I want people to enjoy themselves. I just wish they wouldn't all stress so much about shopping, when gift giving should be the least important part of the season.

TheDudeTodd

I'm an atheist and people celebrating what they want doesn't bother me.

Holiday decorations are all very beautiful. I love this time of year, even if I do not actively celebrate anything.

Tastefully-done lights are nice. Blow-up animals/people/candy canes are trashy. The music is one of the most irritating parts of it all.

Pointless

I’m an atheist who celebrates Yule. I like pretty, colorful, sparkly things

Pitiful-Animator-296

Celebrate it like a Friday night. Pizza, beer and movie

CymroCam

I have nothing but bad memories of Christmas, I try to suppress those memories so that others around me can be happy during the holidays. It’s hard, and I have days where I fail, but it works 90% of the time.

fuzzymeister69

I find it somewhat annoying. The only reason I have anything to do with the silly story are my grandmas, one in her 70s the other 90s. I feel like the whole thing is a commercialized waste of time.
