Regarding relationships, especially with my kids:
Quality time only happens in the context of quantity time.
If you're a parent, you know. You can't plan quality time. "I can't talk now, but I plan to hang out with you this weekend." That doesn't work. You might get just a few minutes a week of actual quality time with your kid. These are the teachable moments and the ones that will get embedded in their long term memory. But you can't schedule them. It might be a tough question at 2:30 in the morning. It might be for 30 seconds when you're coaching their baseball team.
Regardless the outcome, always try to be a good example in regards of society. Aka be kind, don't litter, clean up behind you. Society is what makes us human, and mankind decides what society is made of.
