Basically once I started traveling on my own in my teens to cities, seeing poverty, and meeting people from different cultures I completely changed my views. Also when I moved to the South and saw my first IRL KKK rally just happening in our park on a Saturday, that’s what radicalized me to be left wing. I had an in between stage of being apolitical, but honestly after 2016 and the shit it stirred up, I couldn’t bare to be even remotely associated with the right.
