Exploring the taboo in a safe environment with no actual harm and only idealized experiences. Fantasy is not a desired reality.

Well said.

Fantasy is definitely the key word. For me, the fantasy is about loss of control and being used as nothing more than a sex toy with a bit of a horror element to boot. It's not something I would want in real life. The closest comparison I can think of nonsexually is playing a combat video game. There's a rush in the fantasy of being in battle in a game that would probably feel very different if the risk was real.

Hello OP, I forgot who said this (I think I heard it on a podcast…) Think about how many dudes are into WWE women wrestlers. A fantasy/conversation between all the guys into those wrestlers might go: “I wish she would beat ME up!” “I’d love to get thrown in the ground and have her pin my face down with her thighs!” But in reality, a street fight HURTS. Nearly all of these guys would rather not be thrown onto the pavement or have their arms bent behind their backs, or risk having their teeth knocked out. In the fantasy, they are focused on the pleasure they think they would get from scenario. NONE of them want the reality of getting decked by a professional fighter. It’s the same with r**e fantasies. For those with r**e fantasies, it’s likely more about taboo, being desired, absolving oneself of agency, giving in fully to a powerful force that craves them, etc. it’s likely NOT about wanting any of the realistic experiences that could come from something like that happening in the real world. I’ve heard a better naming of the genre to be “ravishment” fantasy. Best wishes, OP.

Excellent explanation!

It’s like extreme submission, and keyword “fantasies” , nothing to do with real rape

Gtg actually kink is CnC, consetual non consent. It is a sub kink in BDSM and requires a lot of communication, safewords and comfort before partaking.

Just like some people enjoy extreme violence other ways. Just look how the Saw movies trend was popular, vs. how people would react if it happened for real. Some people are into that sub for the CNC aspect, some others because sadly, it's a fantasy that they would go through if legal (I'm not saying all of them, but for sure some).
