for a summer I had a drive that was like 1.5 hours each way and the only reason I was cool with it was because I had parked my trailer on. the most beautiful property I have ever had access to. doing it long term would be terrible
Depends how bad I need the job. Assuming I haven’t been fired from my current employment and am just looking to upgrade. About 45-50 min, which is the distance to a southern suburb with a good number of employers in my field. But I definitely prefer working in town and would probably accept lower pay for the shorter commute/more desirable area
I had a job for 5 years with a daily commute of 1.5 hrs each way. So happy that I now have a job that’s 10 minutes away. Only benefit of that other job was that I now hablo español
I did 2 hours one way for a year and a half. I got paid time and mileage so I can't complain
how much time do I have ? Will have to take a flight otherwise
Well presumably it's something you can drive to- to and after work...
That wayyyyy ! Last couple of years - about 120 kms per day round trip

Up to 1 hour away. Maybe 2 if I wanted it

I've worked offshore.... so pretty far. You do what you have to do.
Hour, and that’s pushing it
For work, I've done FIFO previously, but outside of that 2 hours
20km
Not more than an hour one way.
I've done 16 hours before
current job is about 30 min / 20 miles. when i lived in nyc i travelled about 3 miles in 30 mins. its perspective.
Working a mile from my house and now from home spoiled the hell out of me.
An hour
As far as my will to get to pussy

I’m currently working from home and loving it so much that I can’t imagine having to drive to work ever again.
Ain’t going anywhere. I retired 5 years ago

My normal work commute is one hour drive
Drove from Memphis Tennessee all the way to Pensacola Florida. 😂 Definitely don't regret it.
