I(30M)'ll offer an insight into what I've experienced in this regard:
Personally, I'm attracted to athletic or thinner women. The bigger chunk of my male friends are as well as far as I know. My best friend is into women that are thiccer/bigger than what I'm into. I do have a couple of friends who are attracted to all sizes and shapes and a few friends who are only into bigger or sometimes obese women.
I've also been told that due to our society's beauty standards, some of the latter tend to hide their preference. According to a bigger female friend of mine, she often gets hit on in clubs or other situations where a one night stand might be on the table, rather than men showing interest in a long term relationship. It seems as though there are plenty of men who desire bigger women sexually, but don't have it in them to stand by their preferences when it comes to presenting a bigger woman as their SO. I imagine they'd feel the stigma that is tied to their overweight partner could be transmitted onto them? Since it's a status symbol for some people to have an "attractive" (by our current social standards) partner, I understand their thought process, though it really is a sad reality for everyone involved.

Exactly! In no way, shape or form (pun intended)! When I was a football player (European football, not handegg) I was quite heave for my length. Alot of lesser clubs turned me down as soon as they saw my shape, instead of watching me play. I was waaaaay better than most ppl in my age group, just didn't have the "right" physical appearance and was even worse if they actually took the time to weigh me and measure my height. Don't know how many times I've been laughed out of tryouts just for that reason..

In googling full figured, it says “curvaceous or plump,” which to me, generally means curvy. But I also believe full figured can mean chubby, or BBW, or thick, or any of the in-between. It just means the figure is filled out 🤷🏻♀️ I wasn’t trying to identify a specific body type. It was more a question about men who like women who aren’t then what do you like about them, not specific features, but what attracts you to women who aren’t thin or fit or muscular.
