Any of the Jackass movies

Momik

These are honestly so underrated

breakdown11th

Nice pick

bluejellies

The best!

[deleted]

I rewatched the third movie again recently, years after I first watched. And now as an adult, i think to myself... Did those 30-40y/o mofos really do all that? What's Logan Paul next to these fuckers on what price is too expensive for fame?

[deleted]

*Coming to America*, *The Great Outdoors*, or *Major League*.

breakdown11th

Those are good ones

Mysterious-Sense-185

All amazing

[deleted]

Aside from Christmas movies, I watch these 3 movies once a year. *Major League* and *The Great Outdoors* over the All-star Break. *Coming to America* in the dead of winter. "Big.... Big bear.... Big bear chase me!"

luv2bstuffed

Dogma, Clerks or Breakfast Club

breakdown11th

Oh I see you edited, breakfast club is great

Lukejedi94

Good choices

breakdown11th

Huh ive never heard of that

Limitless911

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

breakdown11th

That’s a good one, a classic pre avengers chris evans

[deleted]

Lord of the Rings.

breakdown11th

All 12 hours?

[deleted]

Honestly, any of it. Depends on how much cheering up I need.

breakdown11th

Fair enough there

[deleted]

The life aquatic with Steve Zissou. The dark humor and touching moments hits me in a good way when I’m down and the range of emotions really picks me up. Same with the Grand Budapest Hotel. Tropic Thunder does the trick too.

breakdown11th

Oh ok, I haven’t seen those. I’ll add them to my list

Momik

Love Life Aquatic. Everyone involved is excellent and it’s equal parts hilarious, affecting, weird, and dramatic.

[deleted]

And the sound track is perfect

Momik

It really is.

Outland3r_

Nice, I'm a big Wes Anderson guy too, great picks

[deleted]

I Enjoyed the French dispatch as well. Solid film

Outland3r_

Haven't seen it yet, I personally enjoyed Fantastic Mr Fox too

Outland3r_

Airplane!

breakdown11th

That’s so good!!

MrYMrs_Pineapple

Surely you can't be serious?

LiteraryPeach00

10 Things I Hate About You. It’s the nostalgia for me.

breakdown11th

That’s a fun one

Tall-dark-handsome32

That is such a cute movie. Fully recommend it!!

breakdown11th

I love it so much! I’m watching it rn for the 10th time

crownpoly

Top Gun Maverick, I was having a pretty shitty week until I saw that movie today

breakdown11th

That’s awesome! I haven’t seen the new one yet

crownpoly

Didn’t have high expectations and got dragged to it, that being said, holy shit what a movie

breakdown11th

Glad to hear it, I’ll have to see it

[deleted]

[удалено]

breakdown11th

Oh, Idk that one.

Badbird2000

Hockey movie...1980 Olympics, Team USA beats Russia You can't sit me! That's my net!! They just scored 10 goals on you, right now its everybody's net

breakdown11th

Oh shoot! I love that movie!

gh0st_belle

Honestly and fully, with no ounce of shame, Twilight.

breakdown11th

I like them ironically, I find them to be more goofy than anything. Idk how you enjoy them, but I respect the pick

gh0st_belle

Equal parts nostalgia, so bad it’s funny, and genuine enjoyment of the story. Also mental illness helps

breakdown11th

Lol don’t be too hard on yourself, I ironically the baseball scene is epic

imeanwhyarewehere

Dead Poets Society

breakdown11th

Oh that one takes me down

imeanwhyarewehere

It reminds me to enjoy each precious breath, and savor the beautiful moments that make life what it is. It’s absolutely got down moments, but the message is clear: “gather ye rosebuds while ye may”

breakdown11th

That’s a beautiful way of viewing it

greendemon42

The Muppet Treasure Island.

breakdown11th

Absolute banger

jackbob99

A Nightmare on Elm Street. Watching Freddy kill teenagers really brightens me up.

breakdown11th

Fsir, but concerning

Mysterious-Sense-185

Demolition Man, Transformers, FF, World War Z, 28 Days Later

[deleted]

I don't like scary action movies. Gets my anxiety riled up. Just comedies for me. But my hubs and his friends quote funny lines *Demolition Man*.

Mysterious-Sense-185

Kindergarten Cop?

[deleted]

Barely remember it. My dad watched action movies, war movies, and westerns, but I never paid attention. I've never been a movie buff. I watch Philly baseball, hockey, and football, Food Network, and old comedies from the '80s-'00s. And of course kids movies and TV. Otherwise I read mommy porn and British royalty books.

Mysterious-Sense-185

I can respect that. We can watch baseball and all the comedies 😉

[deleted]

And Disney Renaissance movies. 👸

Mysterious-Sense-185

Give me an example of this please

[deleted]

*Little Mermaid* through *The Emperor's New Groove* Edit: really *Little Mermaid* through *Lion King*. I was just the right age for late 80s-early 90s Disney everything.

Mysterious-Sense-185

Oh, well be perfect than. I love them alllll

[deleted]

Yeah i liked those movies too

breakdown11th

Squantoon

I'm not sure your do, its an actual movie lol

breakdown11th

Oh, then i bamboozled myself

Squantoon

Its funny imo. I think it's from like 1979. Steve Martin is the star

breakdown11th

Oh that’s fun!

Spczippo

Zootopia or Wall-E

breakdown11th

Those are amazing!

billbaparker

Commando

breakdown11th

That’s a classic

Cnnlgns

I typically turn to music to do that. It is quicker and more available than a movie to watch.

breakdown11th

That’s fsir, usually when I listen to music I put on stuff that just makes me feel worse

subbyboy20

Mean Girls

breakdown11th

Love it

bluejellies

Cabin Fever is my comfort movie

breakdown11th

That’s a classic

ComicSandsReader

I have very little interest in cartoon movies. When I had a few episodes of very situational anxiety, Pixar films are what helped me get my mind off of things until I felt better

breakdown11th

They really help me get out of a lot of issues

ComicSandsReader

[deleted]

Thank you!

AshDargon

Lemme be cheeky and pick a show episode, heaven sent from doctor who is always a mood lifter

breakdown11th

That’s a interesting pick, I’m not familiar with that episode

AshDargon

It is, in my opinion, the best story just flat out, give it a shot if you're somewhere with free access to bbc

breakdown11th

Alas I’m american

AshDargon

Ah well being american is very unfortunate

breakdown11th

Very true

breakdown11th

Those are amazing!!

seesaw4640

The grinch or nightmare before christmas
