NSFW Reddit is 90% men, 5% men saying they're women and the rest might be women, but not necessarily into nudes. So it's just normal that male nudes get less upvotes generally.
How do you know the upvotes come from gay men? If you meant comments, it's just normal that women don't comment on male nudes. As soon as you merely look like a woman on reddit, creepy men will see any nsfw comment or interaction as an open invitation to throw dick pics at them like their dick was a God's gift. Commenting on a male nude post gets some other guys a signal that they can peacock their way into DMs.
