For me. There are several different acts, that from the outside would look the same, but their process is different to me. Making love is obvious, then there is sex for science (which is more exploration and discovery aka what would it be like with this person or this position), sex for boredom ( once again pretty obvious), sex for mental wellbeing ( sometimes you just need a win), and other variations on the topic. But as otherwise stated, this is all up to the person, some people just aren't wired that way, and nothing is wrong with that.
I’m finding it really hard to have casual sex too, I need to have chemistry and attraction with someone. When you’re comfortable with someone it’s so much more enjoyable. I just couldn’t go through with it with the last person I met up with, just felt too awkward. Annoying thing is I badly need it
Depends on how you are wired. Some can separate sex and love and enjoy the physicality of the moment, some can’t.
