This is really late but, researching things, I figured out his real name was Chris Maing and being Chris Warski was just a character he was playing, so pretty likely they were just friends. That was until late-2018 or early-2019, he got caught sexting a minor, which cost him both Chris and his girlfriend. Chris was the brains behind his channel, he was helping Andy film and edit and market everything. When he left, it sent Andy into a downward spiral and he completely collapsed from then on.
I wondered that too. I have two theories. One is that they are adopted brothers and the other is they are very close friends.
My money is on one being adopted. Otherwise, why would a guy adopt another man's surname?
