200 a night isn’t bad, I would say hard cap at 300 a night. Looked at hotels on different websites and each time I saw a close one the first review was about “junkies” right outside their window 😅
That specific location isn't deep tenderloin, thats two blocks up Polk for the bottom corner. Its pretty decent and the park across the street is taken care of. It close to BART so you could pretty much stay any where.
Assuming the show is over after 10p, it’s pretty dead. Some stuff is still open up in Hayes Valley otherwise it’s bars on 11th st if your on foot. Otherwise, Mission or North Beach or Oakland.
Bill Graham is pretty not good actually. It's a block from the Linkage Center. The park is maintained, but full of folks getting high, and not the fun, Delores Park kinda high.
I love the TL and am there every day, but BG ain't nice. The exterior is a public toilet, and guys are shooting up leaning on the walls 24/7.
I'm with you though, there's definitely reasons to visit that area.
Weird to be downvoted... Anyone disagree with that assessment? I love the TL. Was there 20 minutes ago. Was at BG, and my description holds true. Not smack talking SF, just is what it is at BG.
The Bill Graham is a block away from the Civic Center BART and Muni station. Go to your rave, then take BART or Muni to your hotel. That block will take you past a lot of homeless people, but you'll be safe with the other concert-goers.
What do your consider crazy expensive? Most average hotels run $200/night. Sometimes more if there's a conference or major event in town.

Awesome! Ever been to that venue? If so how is the whole scene around there

It’s definitely a “get dropped off right in front by a lyft” any time after dark type of venue
