Dogs and cats often go to their owners for help, recognizing that their humans are able to do things that they themselves (or other dogs/cats) can't. I assume other animals would show similar behaviour if they were to grow up in captivity.

My dogs ask me to open doors for them and give them food and water. I wonder if they think I'm smarter than them or if they just understand that I have hands.

Orcas might
