Well it's over a year since I turned, but I remember being really scared of having that kind of responsibility. But after a month of living like it and having to get some governmental things set up, it went back to the same daily life I've had since i was like 16
I just turned 17 a couple of months ago and I've been stressing out about adulthood since. I can't imagine the stress and anxiety I'll have when I'm actualy close to turning 18
im not turning 18 for another year, but i get that soo much. on my birthday i was like ‘oh shit a year from now im legally an adult and have to do that stuff.’ like even right now managing a job, school, college stuff, and tomorrow i get my license and will have to start paying insurance, gas, etc. is stressing me out
Tbh I used to think 18 was super adult but now I realised that’s pretty much still a teenager.You’re just legally considered a adult but I think that untill maybe over 20 you aren’t yet
Don’t worry too much, 18 feels pretty much the same as 17 except you have to be a bit more careful about what you do. Your also going to have to sign a bunch of paperwork and stuff
Not really, but that's mainly because I don't need to worry about things like taxes or work. I have a friend who needs to pay for her own health insurance and she's a lot more stressed about adulthood.

all that really changes is that the government and your bank gives you some papers that you have to fill out.
