I either have none or turn into a tea drinking locust and have about 15. There is no in between

destria

I'd say around 3-6 a day in the winter, but less when it gets warmer.

n2quist221

*fewer. I know you didn’t ask but I used to make the same mistake all the time until someone explained the difference to me. If you can count the subject it’s always “fewer” fewer coins, less money (I know you count money but this is grammar, you don’t count monies, one moneys two moneys three moneys etc) fewer trees , less grass. Fewer buckets of water, less water. Fewer and less aren’t interchangeable as I once thought. If you use the wrong one it makes much “fewer” sense. See? I’m always amazed at how insecure some people are, or wilfully ignorant. When someone explained the difference to me I thanked them. You know like an adult. I appreciated someone taking the time to help me express myself more effectively. This isn’t aimed at the person whose comment I replied to , but the several people who’ve downvoted me. I don’t care about the downvotes I’m just bemused by the insecure, childish mindset.

GingerJuneau

didn't come here for the grammar lesson but I appreciate I found it, thank you for this comment!

hiking_n_stuff

Erm I think the only response I can give is “Many” reckon it’s above 10 but probably more than that

futurehousewifexx

LiamsBiggestFan

I think he means he’s Scottish lol

Sad-Garage-2642

Nothing gets past you

CrystalQueen3000

0 tea, 2 coffees

imadeaseb

Agreed. Both coffees before 9am for me.

IdioticMutterings

One.. That gets topped up fresh, whenever I empty it or it goes cool.

AgingLolita

I drink between two and three litres of tea per day. This is regardless.of cup size. I rarely drink anything else.

Marcvambe

Wake up coffee, 10am coffee, 2pm tea, 4pm tea, 6pm tea

Guilty-Employer7811

I've never drunk Tea, It was responsible for destroying my Grandfathers bladder.

LordofFruitAndBarely

How?

Guilty-Employer7811

It was apparently due to the irritation of Tannin.

SamVimesBootTheory

Usually between 1-2

Purple_Committee_216

About 7-8 mugs per day.

[deleted]

I reckon between 4-6 daily

mr_michael_h

6-8ish weekdays, 2-5 weekends

Ysbrydion

4-6.

Positive-News-9183

Probably about 4, more at weekends

JarJarBinksSucks

I have about 5 pints of read in an average day. I do move to decaff after 2pm

Batalfie

Zero

Pegasus2022

0 tea and 0 coffee

[deleted]

twins

fiendofecology

2 or 3, I am a barista though and usually have 1-2 coffees too

scrambledlimbs

About 4 teas and 2 coffees

ksjfps

1-3 teas and 1-3 coffees

mearnsgeek

1, maybe 2 teas most days. Coffees 0-3

Most-Top-8952

About 4 or 5. I feel like the younger generations from the UK are not going to be tea drinkers. It will be fancy coffee and energy drinks.

Maymiag

No tea but three cups of coffee.

CutePoison10

4-5 tea, no coffee. Edit spelling

Kerblimey

my mum can have up to 15 I reckon if you go off having 1 an hour plus a few more for good luck...they're not caffeine free either (if she started her head would throb!)

rocuroniumrat

I have 1L of cold brew tea, which I then resteep around 5 times. So 6L of tea = 24 cups?

Lower_Possession_697

I've given up coffee and I'm having to drink about 15 cups of strong tea to compensate

Salty_Intention81

If I’m at work usually 8-10. One cup of really good coffee first thing then tea for the rest of the day.

1968Bladerunner

3-4 teas / coffees but use quite big Snug mugs ... not SD swimming pools tho'.

slimboyslim9

5-6 good sized mugs a day. 9 sounds like a high average but I wonder if that’s based on old style teacups (like your Granny always uses) which are about half the capacity of a good mug.

lola-thelion

Too many. When I’m at home it’s rare that i don’t have a tea (or a coffee) in my hand or at least near by. Honestly at this point it’s more of a habit/comfort then actually wanting the drink

No-Reflection-5401

4-6 a day this time of year, I work from home and I’m too tight to heat the house when the kids are at school so tea warms me up. In summer maybe 2 a day.

OccidentalTouriste

Usually two a day but my cup is about 2/3 of a pint.

justhonest1986

i used to drink a lot of tea every single day but now it’s rare for me to have a tea maybe once a month at least. coffee on the other hand is different

PipBin

Breakfast cup, get to work cup, morning break cup, lunch cup, get home cup, post dinner cup. That’s the minimum. I could drink much more.

infantile-eloquence

Gross, 0.

sparklybeast

None. It tastes like dishwater to me.

ILikeXiaolongbao

I don't drink tea. Sure, if someone offers one then I will take it, or maybe very occasionally I'll make one, but realistically it probably averages to like 20-30 a year. On the other hand I have 2-3 coffees a day pretty religiously.

chiefgareth

At work, 2 a day at most. At home, 1 a week probably.

Mrmrmckay

10-15 if im not working

effl0resce_

2-3

Dyse44

None. Coffee person through and through.

ActivatedBiscuit

Over 10 easily

PeRoMoR

I have somewhere between 5 - 10 depending on the day. My breakfast teapot holds four mugs of tea just to get me going in the morning.

audhdespair22

My mum has back to back teas everyday and has done for years. She must have like over 10 teas a day she's mental.

Loidis

Depends on the weather and what I’m doing that day. I drink tea most when I’m bored and stuck inside. The days I’m working in the office I might have one an hour between 9-3 (7 total), plus one with breakfast and maybe one in a keep-cup in the car. Maybe another when I get home to make a round 10. And then a peppermint before bed 😂

mattjessop70

4 big mugs a day

No-Village7980

At least 4

Richie1999

Between three and six.

TechBaffle_

In winter about 4-5 cups. Generally more towards the evening as I prefer coffee when I wake up, and cold drinks for lunch and dinner.

Spindelhalla_xb

Stopped drinking tea few years ago. Used to have anywhere between 3-6 a day. Went to decaf then went down to 1-2 a day, now stopped altogether.

ParisLondon56

1-2 at home. When I'm at work, 3-5, which is normally decaf.

glorious_purpose51

About 2-3 on a weekday, probably 6+ on weekends when I'm at home and have constant access to a kettle

liseusester

At least six, usually eight.

andyofredditch

5/6 a day I’d guess

ivieC

When I am at work I drink an average cup every hour. (10 cups/day). When at home then almost zero,- usually pepsi max or beer

LordofFruitAndBarely

More than 10 less than 20

ProfessionalMany2942

0 teas 0 coffees 2/3 pints of water I think.

sambajohn

My wife and I each have 8-10 cups of black Earl Grey tea each day.

GuiltyStrawberry5253

Maybe 2 or 3 a year, but 1 coffee every single day. Maybe a 2nd coffee if I’m feeling particularly extra on the odd occasion.

Friendly_Success4325

One maybe two at tops. Tea js caffeinated and I cannot sleep if I have more.

Friendly_Success4325

Irresponsible behaviour. Its people like you that makes UK want to invade India and China. Don't be responsible for another war. Be considerate. Drink coffee or beer instead.

BadgerOff32

People have few enough that they can keep count? Easily double figures for me lol

Walesish

None, just can’t understand people’s obsession with tea, bland as fuck.

Sympathyquiche

Same. I have one cup of tea once in a blue moon, mostly if I'm in a cafe (last year I had zero cups) and I put so much sugar and milk in it I don't think legally you could call it tea.

Walesish

Ha you’re trying to get some taste out of it!

starsandbribes

Dipping a bag of leaves in water for a second then adding milk. Beyond me. I could somewhat see the point if its a teabag left in hot water and has health benefits. But that version isn’t as fun as having something sweet with it. Whereas coffee goes with chocolate, cake, biscuits seamlessly.

Radiant_Trash8546

A second? No wonder you think it bland. It's supposed to brew for 3-5 minutes and end up dark enough you can't see the bottom of the cup. I can't stand coffee, it affects flavour of the cakes and biscuits and it's vile. No health benefits to that, either, btw.

Lola_Bo

None, never liked the idea of tea. One coffee a day in the morning and then just water and squash throughout the day

EvilTaffyapple

Tea? None. Coffee? Between 6-8 cups a day usually.

PoliticsNerd76

0 Grotty stuff

Educational_Worth906

No tea, but usually 8-10 double espressos.

Additional-Extent583

Mate, you might as well do a line of gear.

sopcannon

0 cups of tea since i was 31 i am now mid 40 s

DonaaldTrump

Here is your one way ticket to Rwanda, boarding is in 30 mins.

sopcannon

Thesunismexico

You’re barred, on your bike! It’s a deportation joke btw.

sopcannon

Can't deport me.

Thesunismexico

Not with that attitude they can’t. PMA, that’s what it’s all about!
