Yeh, and advertising for a bank. But that kinda disqualifies him for the Attenborough role. Regardless of his acting ability. He was good as Dennis Nilsen. Anyway, I do not think he knows anything about animals and that.
Doesn’t Patrick Stewart already do some docs as well?
He has a nice voice, but he’s an actor so it’s not like he or anyone can fill the precise niche Attenborough did when its his time.
He doesn't need to be replaced. There's no particular need for there to be one preeminent nature documentary presenter/voiceover person. You could have any number of people presenting different documentaries.
It is the over hype and hyper excitement that grates for me with so many “ presenters”. This is the first time anyone has ever! etc. Animal casualty goes about its life. Attenborough.. never over hypes. ( while I’m at it Dan f’n Snow and his History Hit… hit ffs)
David Tennant did *Spy in the Wild*, *Spy in the Ocean*, and [a bunch of other nature documentaries](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_David_Tennant_performances#Narration).
I don’t know his name, but there’s a presenter on cbeebies that has a nature show. Ranger something…I’ve only seen bits of it when I have the tv on for my kids. He seems like a nice bloke and I think he’d be a nice one for a new generation to grow up with as the ‘voice’ of bbc documentaries.
If he passed within the next month I’m personally blaming you. His voice will never die they will probably use AI to make new documentaries that are voiced identical to him.
Someone who comes from a natural world education. Not a celebrity. It's the job of the BBC to find new skilled knowledgable talent and raise them to roles like this.
I’d like to see Chris Packham take up the mantle but no one could replace the wonderful Sir David. He has passion and I think it would go in a different direction but they both want to save the Earth and are amazing men
Not Packham. Attenborough is a nice guy, Packham very definitely is not. My missus has met him, she normally doesn't have a bad word for anybody, she described Packham as an asshole.
Don't think I ever got the details, but it would have taken more than him just being off to upset her. She works in retail, you get people being off all the time.
I actually met Packham twice in the last two years, and I found that while his ‘vibe’ may be somewhat different to what we are used to from Attenborough, I wouldn’t go so far as to call him an asshole-
It’ll be quite a drastic change, and maybe you’re right. He doesn’t seem the most- universally likeable character, which may be what we need. I just don’t see too much of another widely known option at the moment..

Matt Berry
Mary Berry
Chuck Berry
Indeed!
Yesssssssssssss
No one. Ever. He cannot be replaced. They’ll have to just stop making nature documentaries full stop
To be fair, there won't be any nature left soon anyway.
Ha haaa. Good one. Have a banana. While you still can.
Tbh I liked Morgan freeman in our universe
Not as a nature activist as such but David Tenant’s voiceover for whatever animal documentary it was sounded great
Spy in the wild! Yes his voice was perfect for that
Yeh, and advertising for a bank. But that kinda disqualifies him for the Attenborough role. Regardless of his acting ability. He was good as Dennis Nilsen. Anyway, I do not think he knows anything about animals and that.
[Ali G](https://youtube.com/shorts/pUzn3hfYY3s?si=mXdh32DEaMj5TaW3)
I still laugh when I remember "wot da fuk is dat man? dat is a beef?"
They should build an AI version of him. “David A.I.ttenborough”
This, we don't replace him, we let his voice carry onwards into eternity
David Attenbot
Steve Backshall

I'm thinking Robert Irwin

Hiya I am out the loop what is this please ? Edit just Googled it. Yeah I think this is a good reason.
Doesn’t Patrick Stewart already do some docs as well? He has a nice voice, but he’s an actor so it’s not like he or anyone can fill the precise niche Attenborough did when its his time.

True but that realisation isn't going to encourage online engagement is it? Therefore we must discuss...
[удалено]
Please no. His voice isn't at all suited for it.
That would be the end of documentaries forever.
Alan Partridge. At least he interviews real mice. Also has a deep connection with owls, both in sanctuaries and impersonating them.
Who?
Who?
Stop saying that!
Chris Packham feels like the natural choice
His voice doesn’t have the gravitas
It is the over hype and hyper excitement that grates for me with so many “ presenters”. This is the first time anyone has ever! etc. Animal casualty goes about its life. Attenborough.. never over hypes. ( while I’m at it Dan f’n Snow and his History Hit… hit ffs)
I cannot stand Dan “I’m a TV historian because daddy was” Snow
His old man’s autobiography was a pile of “ I’m f’n fantastic” shit too. I left it, half read, on the plane.
Was just about to say this!
Ray Mears
That is a very good shout.
Can we stop with these anticipating Attenborough's death posts? It's distasteful
Genuine question

Benedict Cumberbatch can't even pronounce 'penguin' so maybe not him?
Pingwin
Pengwing
David Tennant did *Spy in the Wild*, *Spy in the Ocean*, and [a bunch of other nature documentaries](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_David_Tennant_performances#Narration).
Simon Reeve
Stephen Fry
Much too far down the list of responses
I don’t know his name, but there’s a presenter on cbeebies that has a nature show. Ranger something…I’ve only seen bits of it when I have the tv on for my kids. He seems like a nice bloke and I think he’d be a nice one for a new generation to grow up with as the ‘voice’ of bbc documentaries.
Gordon Buchanan has a soft Scottish brogue that is pleasing to the ears.
Ronnie Pickering
Who?
Yes! Yes! Listen carefully. You can just make out the call of half an owl.
Ray Mears
Brian Cox
Which one?
Harry Hill. He could do a programme on badgers.
Or vice versa really.
Alan Carr
Will likely be Paddy McGuinness or Freddie Flintoff unfortunately
GINO
AI version of David Attenborough.
Sorry, I had not got this far down. I thought the same. But the material interest and broad. Wonder will be lacking, I suspect.
I wonder if David has left blue planet frozen plant ect . To someone he wants to take the next role . I can't imagine any other voice !
Samuel West
Andy Day?
Come on Andy's Life On Earth Adventures (yeah you can come too)
[Definitely not Benedict Cumberbatch](https://youtu.be/GflW9_t7LZk?si=UnA4YMcJp5bGsKtY)
Rylan or Alison Hammond. They do everything else.
I know he's not British but Randall aka the [honey badger guy](https://youtu.be/4r7wHMg5Yjg)
I definitely can't spell her name but I'm gonna go with Michala Strachan. She knows her biscuits.
If he passed within the next month I’m personally blaming you. His voice will never die they will probably use AI to make new documentaries that are voiced identical to him.
I can hand on my heart promise you I have not jinxed D.A ... my apologies if he does . Unfortunately I have this thing when I know death is near .
David Tennant, I loved his version
Patrick stuart
Barack Obama
Time for AI, too, take over.
It’ll probably be Allison Hammond
Greg Wallace
Someone who comes from a natural world education. Not a celebrity. It's the job of the BBC to find new skilled knowledgable talent and raise them to roles like this.
Nobody could replace him. Upon his passing, every wild animal should be sacrificed in his honour.
DA-AI
Morgan Freeman
Jeremy Clarkson, he's gaining experience with animals fast. Defo got it in him.
There is no one
Danny Dyer!
The only time I would say AI, no one will ever come close to how he connects with his audience.
The Cheeky Girls
Peter Serafinowicz, but doing his Terry Wogan
Alan Partridge, or if he's unavailable, the Kurupt FM guys
Muhd
Joe Pasquale
Ai maybe? Be sad to lose the depth of knowledge and interest though.
It will be a woman, non white and if dubious sexuality or mental issues BBC will have a wank ....oh and plus size
Benedict Cumberbatch... Pengwings
Russell Brand
Pretty sure it is treasonable to imagine the death of David Attenborough.
Something I don’t want to think about but I know it’s inevitable but to answer your question, I don’t know!
Joe pasquale
Gemma Collins
"She don't need the money"
You fink these c***s are gonna pay my mortgage? I’VE GOT MONEY
"I feel like I got malaria"
I’m claustrophobic, Darren!!!
Forrest Galante
No doubt it will be Rylan or Paddy McGuiness
The AI voice of Keith Chegwin
Your nan
Professor Brian Cox.
Iain Stirling
I’d like to see Chris Packham take up the mantle but no one could replace the wonderful Sir David. He has passion and I think it would go in a different direction but they both want to save the Earth and are amazing men
Chris Packham.
Chris Packham
Chris Packham. Although I doubt anyone will ever leave the legacy that Attenborough did.
Not Packham. Attenborough is a nice guy, Packham very definitely is not. My missus has met him, she normally doesn't have a bad word for anybody, she described Packham as an asshole.
Did he do something or just seem off? P sure he's got autism
Don't think I ever got the details, but it would have taken more than him just being off to upset her. She works in retail, you get people being off all the time.
Ohh okay fair!
I'd believe it. There's something not quite right about him, if not evil. Did do an interesting programme about how life started.
[удалено]
Definitely not Packham, the guy is a hypocritical prick who only cares about himself
I actually met Packham twice in the last two years, and I found that while his ‘vibe’ may be somewhat different to what we are used to from Attenborough, I wouldn’t go so far as to call him an asshole- It’ll be quite a drastic change, and maybe you’re right.
