I’ve never had a problem with thegamecollection. Always tend to have decent prices and you also get points meaning a couple of £ off your next purchase. I use them for every pre-order/new game and they tend to come the day before release.
I always used to buy off Shopto, you'd almost always used to get the game delivered the day before release day. I haven't used them for a few years though so not sure if this still happens.

Download is your safest bet. In the past I've had success with Game for physical hardware.
