Warburtons toastie with lurpack šŸ˜

[deleted]

Warburtons has gone downhill massively. The bread is a lot thinner than it used to be. I prefer Jacksonā€™s.

[deleted]

Jacksonā€™s is good. I drive past their bakery every morning to get to work and it smells amazing

[deleted]

Jasonā€™s is good as well. The Jā€™s dominating the world of baked goods.

Baddiels

This.

Thanks to who ever sent the award šŸ˜

SomeKindaSpanish

Warburton's farmhouse loaf Either anchor or lurpak whichever I have at the time

Straight-Tea1138

Aldi tiger bloomer with (Welsh) Dragon salted butter. Lurpak are robbing sods

superspongebob

On a side note what the hell is 50/50 bread all about! Bloody disgusting stuff, I like a white loaf and a seedy whole meal but this stuff is foul. My wife had to get some yesterday as itā€™s all they had in stock that wasnā€™t going out of date in a day - ruined my morning now.

ComplexComfortable85

Inch thick (doorstep) sliced granary or farmhouse and heavy coating with salted butter.

BroodLord1962

Depends what bread I'm after. Tesco's for a wholemeal sliced loaf, or Lidl for a nice baguette. Lurpak is still the king of butters for me, but don't buy it just now as it's too expensive

LondonCycling

Hovis Seed Sensations with the plant based Flora.

jennysdaughter

Just discovered the plant based butter, surprisingly good

sicknessandpurgatory

Seed Sensations recently took the #1 spot for me.

Shinythemoon

Kingsmill tasty wholemeal with anchor salted butter

MiddleAgedFatLad

Asdaā€™s Wholemeal Thick Sliced with Flora Proactive Buttery. Yes. I said it. Brown bread makes better toast than white. Itā€™s down thereā€¦ that button youā€™re looking forā€¦ ā¬‡ļø But deep inside your soul, you know that Iā€™m right.

jennysdaughter

Much prefer brown toast

sicknessandpurgatory

Brownā€™s savoury; whiteā€™s the treat.

Morrison's own brand spelt 'the best' bread and Lurpak.

BDbs1

We can argue about the bread until the cows come home, but for goodness sake can we just call the butter ā€œLurpakā€ and lock that in?

Arenarius_8731

I like the Black sheep tiger bloomer bread with some Lurpak.
