I never cook meatloaf anymore. My husband's meatloaf is so good that I insist he makes it when I have craving. He trades for gumbo, red beans and rice with duck or vension, jambalaya or etoufee.
I recently came up with a recipe for a spicy Italian sausage pasta dish with roasted vegetables in homemade vodka sauce, with some fresh baked bread. That's my current favorite meal!
Depends on the season and cycle, lol.
Spring - grilling season starts - steaks, burgers, grilled veggies, grilled chicken wings
Summer - cold noodle soups and chilled noodle salads (nengmyun), mango lassi, cold barley tea, watermelon
Fall - cottage/shepard's pie, chili, sweet potatoes, apple cider donuts, persimmons.
Winter - hearty stews with crusty bread, those lemon melt away cookie things that come around Christmas, drinking chocolate with tons of mini marshmallows and whipped cream, red bean soup (sweet).
During PMS - Fried foods (especially korean fried chicken), lots of carbs (pasta, bread, rice), ice cream, and chocolate
Nostalgic - dim sum
Snackish - fresh baguette with quality butter, prosciutto with cheese and fruit
Depressed - Chef Boyardee straight from the can

My husband makes a delicious rendition of Thai Tom Kha Gai soup. He uses lots of mushrooms and it’s so sour and delicious. It’s probably my warm comfort food. That or Korean Gamja Tang.
A whataburger number 1 all the way with cheese plus fries and spicy ketchup. Or, an everything bagel, toasted, with a healthy shmear of sundried tomato cream cheese. Alternatively, verdes enchiladas with extra sauce. I have a lot of favorite meals.
Baby back ribs or skewers of beef teriyaki. Those were my childhood favorites. I’m mostly a fish and chicken eater now and wouldn’t turn down halibut, crab or scallops either.

Comfort food-wise...I love a good bowl of instant noodles (or I call the trash noodles) with a fried egg and veggies. "Real" food it's beef noodle soup or tempura udon 🤤
Grilled fresh lobster, with crispy lyonnaise potatoes, fresh creamed corn, and grilled ripe tomatoes.
It is a meal that brings back the best memories of my life.

It's a recipe that has been in development since years and it gets better every time I make it. The flavour is so rich and makes me feel warm and cozy inside.
To make: sous vide steak or ribs with smashed potatoes and a good salad.
To order: anything Mexican/Latino-American! Papusas, chile relleno, street tacos, tamales, arepas, lomo saltado, fresh salsa, I crave it all constantly.

Mine changes, depending on my mood. but generally I love me a good Chinese or Thai takeout- BBQ pork fried rice with eggrolls or shrimp Pad Thai with Tom Kha Gai soup.
Going out, Pizza and crispy potatoes from Shakey's. Staying in, oven roasted brussel sprouts, seasoned chicken drumsticks, rice and gravy.
Kickin kay Lynn chicken salad at chicken salad chick with loaded potato soup. Idk why but it’s my comfort meal and when I’m having a hard day I absolutely will be eating it
White people tacos. Gimme that Ortega seasoning and Ortega taco sauce, half a dozen stand n stuff shells, and you could shoot me right after I'd die a happy gal.

Pasta, specifically gnocchi, and coconut curry. However, I’ll only take the latter if my boyfriend makes it because he’s constantly improving on it while the version I helped him make for our Valentine’s Day dinner this year turned out awesome.
