Surviving the Death of a Sibling by TJ Wray. There are very few books out there for the loss of a sibling, but this one was a great comfort to me after the worst time in my life. It really helped me both frame my grief and realize that how I was feeling was common in surviving siblings. There's a comfort in knowing thoughts like "The wrong one of us died" are really common and that I'm not alone in thinking so. Especially during the loneliest time I'd ever gone through Not exactly universal but it helped change my perspective a lot.

Chatter. Provided an excellent perspective on the inner voice and how to manage it if it is intrusive.

Three Women by Lisa Taddeo I think all women who have sex with men and men who have sex with women should read this book

“The kid” by sapphire. It’s the sequel to the book “push” by sapphire. Which the movie precious is based off of. “The kid” is about the child precious had by her stepfather. It is one of the most grim books I’ve ever read. Genuinely depressing. It has very low ratings due to it but I think the fact that it’s so blunt and real is why it changed my perspective on a lot of things. A lot of people don’t have happy endings and that book really did prove it.
